This is probably my favourite gunpla channel on youtube, your videos have the same quality as Mecha Gaikotsu, and same in depth modelkit review as ZakuAurelius. I hope that one day, youtube algorithm gods will get to your channel and make it big
Thanks! While I don't really care about success, it would be kinda cool to meet more people that are into this hobby. Maybe if I could figure out how to upload more frequently lol. Hoping to fix that soon.
He's better than MechaGai for me tbh. I've always liked a more chill approach when it comes to model kit reviews. Also I don't get Mecha's tiering system.
And the best part is he doesn’t spend a ton of time talking about painting instead of the kit like zaku, and isn’t a clickbait riddled ADHD goblin like mecha
It's always a pleasure to see a new upload from you. Something about your videos is just so calming and makes them so fun to watch. Keep up the great work!
I thought of something you can add, if the kit came with one of those cardboard cut outs of the kit itself. There is little to no documentation I can find of exactly which came with one. You'd expect a kit like the mg guncannon or mg gouf but they don't! Yet a kit like the mg qubelay ( I love this kit btw) comes with a cut out. It's wild
I always see both the gold ver of the mg g gundam and master gundam when I’m in my local hobby store. Looking forward to see if it’s actually worth buying an old plated kit
Good to see you again. I was wondering what happened to you, but I'm glad you uploaded a new one. And man, I can imagine Bandai trying to make the RG in this same coating, and it'll look amazing.
It's great to see a new review! I actually saw a whole stock of MG Hyper Mode Master Gundams at the Odaiba Gundam Base when I went to Japan in December, but I wasn't able to get it at the time. I'll be heading back to Japan next month so I'll check to see if they have any along with the God Gundam!
Hey Jon they just reprinted the MG Rick Dias Quattros Bajeena kit almost everywhere in the US. Any plans to cover this old but cool looking successor to the Rick Dom
AWWW it feels so good to see you again I did notice it was a lil bit awkward and I sorta assumed there was no score because the kit hasn't been reprinted, yet it has lol I honestly prefer to hear you Yap, detailed indeph reviews are what I like. The more information in a review the better 😊 I would LOVE to hear the full 20 mins Plated kits are high maintenance, my hyaku shiki 2.0 gets a weekly dusting 💀
wait what? how did u get this? also, idk what u r talking about in the description. your excitement really shines through in the audio and the footage looks fine! very reflective. good video 👍
Thanks! I was very lucky to find this kit. I happened to be in Japan for a trip with some friends at the time of the re-release. I went to every Gundam base in the southern part of Japan, and couldn't find it. Was really bummed about it. Then, on the last day, I was in Shibuya and decided to kill some time and check out the Mandarake, and there it was! Apparently, someone had bought it and sold it unopened for a quick buck, and amazingly, I happened to be there on the same day! I'll never get over the odds of that happening.
I wouldn't say this was reprinted for no reason. If I had to guess, we're probably going to get an RG GF13-017NJII God Gundam [Hyper Mode] announced soon-ish. I hope if we do get it, Bandai goes with the MG MSN-00100 Hyaku Shiki [Ver 2.0]'s gold; the non reflective gold.
The goated gundam reviewer. I read your notes in the description and tbh i think you worry too much. Look at our alternatives- -Zakuaurelius, who posts half gunpla reviews, hal random stuff with a high chance of lewd girl figures -mechagaikotsu, who repeats himself a million times a video with "great" and "awesome." Dude cranks the vids out, sure, but his dialogue is... not good. -kakarot197, who......hasnt made a review in 2-3 months and makes "gunpla news" and development history vids now more than anything it seems...MAKE MORE REVIEWS, KAKAROT! Yeah, youre like, the top tier reviewer. You keep it professional, objective while still letting us know your subjective view, your voice is the best of the selection, and the actual reviewing is better than the others, too. Zakuaurelius and mechagaikotsu dont always show the frame like you ALWAYS do, they skip articulation sometimes cuz "its just this other kit, check that vid." Or skimp out and just do "test poses" like gaikotsu does. You do your detailing but you point out e v e r y bit of it, so whether it's out-of-box or not, we know whats up. I just hope you make more vids.
You should do reviews of 1.0 kits that got 2.0s and compare them kinda like with the Alex you did it would be super cool anyway this video was amazing. I love the master Gundam I got I should get the god Gundam.
Congrats! It really is a hard kit to track down. One of those kits you don't think much about buying when it's available, then 2 years later you realize how rare it really it is. Hope the build went well!
I know there is a version of the Hyaku Shiki 2.0 and Fenix that also have similar gold plating that can be very easy to nub/scratch. Still, nice review!
I have a question, why do you only make reviews of mobile suit kits that appeared in series from the 80's and 90's since I don't see that you make reviews of kits that are not from those years, such as gundam seed kits, gundam 00 gundam iron blooded orfance, gundam unicorn, gundam age and that's something I've been wondering for a while now you don't even have a review of master grande full armor gundam from gundam thunderbolt what does that series happen during the events of the original series of mobile suit gundam during the one year war and I see that you don't have anything about gundam origin either, I'm not saying it's a bad thing but it does seem strange to me that you haven't done reviews of kits from series that aren't from the 80's and 90's
Great question. Personally, I believe the Gundam franchise ended with Turn A Gundam. Like Gundam was huge in the 80's, got some soft reboots in the late 80's and early 90's, before losing steam. Then Tomino came back and decided that if it was going to end, it should be on his terms, and he made a borderline experimental art piece that is Turn A Gundam. It incapsulates the whole series, and despite having it's own standalone story, it thematically book ends the franchise. Then Seed came out a few years later to try and reboot the franchise and make it marketable again. There's a lot I like post Turn-A, (Build Fighters, parts of IBO, some of The Origin), but the vibe feels more focused on marketing to every demographic rather than just telling a good story. Of course, my theory is now out the window thanks to whatever Reconquista in G is, so idk, it's whatever. Regardless, I'm into Vaporwave and Future Funk and just love that 80's and 90's anime aesthetic anyway, so that's my go to era for Gundam.
@@redheadphones6 Well, there I have a vision that is too closed and reductionist, but there it depends on the tastes and preferences of each person and I know that I respect that, for example, I don't like G Fighter Gundam at all since it seems like a series that is too ridiculous to me. What is the Gundam franchise for? What is it supposed to be? What is a franchise? It seeks to be a little more realistic. Instead, G Fighter Gundam is like Dragon Ball Z from Gundam and yes, I want to see something like Dragon Ball Z, well, I better watch Dragon Ball Z, but That is something very personal and I respect those who do like g fighter gundam since I am not one to tell others what they can and cannot see to give an example, I started watching the gundam franchise with gundam wing in 2013 and I saw it in Latin Spanish since I am from Latin America specifically from Mexico but as I said I started with Gundam Wing and I know that many consider that series to be the worst of the franchise but I hear that above all from people who only watch what it has to do with the timeline of the universal century but I don't marry those people because they are simply people who don't listen to reason and I want to clarify that I don't include you there since although I only see series from the 80's and 90's which only has to do with him universal century, thank you for answering my question and I was going to ask you if you are planning to do a review of the updated hguc of the gundam ground type that came out a few years ago and I'm asking you since I know what you are, what do you prefer your kits to be the most Possibly attached to the anime I want to know your opinion about that kit and more comparing it with the master large gundam ground type

@xxnike0629xx but will you build a kit again in the end?
@xxnike0629xx or NO? In favour of you ...
