Otto played age 4 kind of weird. when i do this build as you say ship 1000 coin, age up with 1000 coin, get mercentalism for 3 shipments and ship bombards and factories. and then make as many cav archers asap. Manchu delayed so much because of the coin cost and shipping frigate early, he was like 2000 coin behind. for that 2000 coin id rather have the 1700 coin bombards from mosque. He could have had 6-8 bombards and 20-30 cav archers in the same time as his first push with the manchu/bombard. Then switch over to food, keep spamming cav archers and get the spahi. Weird play for a high elo player against the brits. If brits had switched to longbow culv earlier otto could have been in trouble. Dunno why brit chose to try stay on goon culv with no longbow for so long

Ottoman is a strong civ. Whenever I have taken the otto and my opponent is Britten, he has never won a match against me.
But here a completely different formula was seen.

Azap+abus+ Sipahi is the deadliest otto combo. Jans are slow. Gets countered easily. But countering AAS combo is nightmare.

Map is Finland. Exotic Hardwoods is an okay substitute for 3 vill or early shipments for Brit, Inca or anyone else that might chop a lot for water. 15 villagers or more on wood is equal to three vills and that takes up less population, less of an issue for Brit and Inca but it’s not an awful card to have early though I’d use three vill before it instead of wood trickle because trickles aren’t effected by eco cards.
yeah but it still takes time to get to 15 vills ALL on wood, if i send 3 vills in age 1 it might be more worth in the short term, not to mention quicker age up.

Look tom has no vills bc he did not do mosque faster vill creation. And only 1 tc. That is why brit could hold so long and have way better eco.
At my ELO (1050) everyone plays Ottoman FF and impossible to beat. One thing I've noticed at my level is that no one plays India anymore. Same on your end?
At the top there is a few india mains, tbh I dont see much otto atm for some reason :/
I'm at 1050-1100 elo. India is rare breed in this bracet. Otto is simply easier to play at low level.
Ottoman FastFortress is NOT impossible to beat. A well exexuted early Rush destroys it. I am 1000-1100 elo Otto player, as well.
Ottoman struggles Against pike X-bow combo. I got beaten plenty of times Against german age 2. But if Otto manage to ff without damage, its scary. Don't let otto fight a standing battle. Otto infantry is slow make them walk. Best way to counter otto is scouting. If u see otto is heavily hunting without gold most probably he will go for sipahi. The deadliest early ff rush. U need to force otto player to spent his food. If u see mass of infantry then probably otto will go for falcs push. Scary but manageable. Either way making walls does hamper otto momentum & gives u time to age up or making counter units.
I’m also low elo and play mostly French. I’ll put early pressure on them and if that fails just go age 3, send goons for the Sipahi and train skirms for the jans

Wood trickle + 20% faster wood makes no sense together. One or another.
Is opening double tp into silk road and capitalism aiming for fast fortress/industrial sorta viable or is it just way too risky/utopic
defo viable, but it is pretty greedy so I would be careful which civs you try this on, good luck :)
