Not all of these children/babies had been abandoned. Some of their parents are working far away and don't have child care so they bring them to Houng. The parents come to visit and might take their child for a day or so until they have to leave again. The ones who are abandoned didn't deserve that. I have no idea what kind of life these kids will have knowing they cannot be adopted out so they will live there and sleep with all the other children, get spoonful of food and sharing the same spoon and hope they get more than just a few spoonfuls of food to eat. If there are any kids sleeping then they miss out. 😢😢

She can only do so much for each baby, these babies could be on the street if it wasn’t for her. Babies cry for no reason sometimes, you can’t always pick them up, especially when you are juggling all those babies. Have some compassion, goes a long way.
Don't be mistaken, Huong has said countless times that she intentionally doesn't hold the babies because she doesn't want them to like it or get used to being held so they are independent from birth. But it's not just her taking Then there's beo... but anyway, Huong isn't on her own when it comes to taking care of these children. She has a very large team behind her and also many volunteers
Where do all these babies keep coming from? They're reproducing like rabbits in Vietnam. Don't they practice or educate in forms of birth control there or are they just trying to over populate! This is only one of many orphanages there, it is mind blowing! I am glad to see at least babies don't look of malnutrition like in other countries but I think it is sinful to have such disregard of producing a human life and then just abandoning them. I pray for these unfortunate little souls🙏
Vietnam is a poor and communist country. In Vietnam, citizen don't have social support, have to pay for education and health care by themselves. These babies most are from the young girls having babies without marriage, or the poor who can't taking care of for awhile, but some later have babies back that why there is no adoption. I understand Huong's hard work and her kindness for these unfortunate babies but I believe the Centre should employ more childcare workers or receive babies in its capability. There are many religious group taking care of these orphans. Everyone can see the problem coming for these kids in this centre, if not physically would be mentally. I saw and had attention to a boy crying. He was waiting for feeding while others had had, but no responded, missed out (?), then in his wobbly steps, he took a bottle from a boy near by.
