- How did the new Beta 200RR RE do at Foxboro? It did awesome! It could grunt up snotty climbs or sing on the faster trails. Bike impresses me the more I ride it. Oh yeah, Dave swears a lot in this one, so block the kids ears! Enjoy!

I learned a cool trick for the RE. It’s crucial to torque your tripple clamps correctly. Wet top bolts 17nm then the next lower 12nm then the the 2 pinch bolts on bottom clamp do 12nm and it makes the forks much nicer.
Spell check sucks . Tops are marked 17nm and bottom are 12nm and they bind up.
Torque specs are printed on the trees also
@@jmothers ya but don’t use them , go lighter on the torque, they bind up forks. Top is 17 then 12 then 8 on the 2 bottom. Mine felt 100 percent better

So I tried, and it did make a difference. I left the top alone for safety and the top can't cause binding. The bottom I went with 8 newton meter. Definitely felt more plus. Purposely charged through some rock sections and was pleasantly surprised. 👍, good hack!
