[Spoilers] I stopped watching the moment Norman came back. The strongest part of the story was since his departure things had a gravity to them because it fels like unlike most stories bad things actually COULD happen and not everything was back to normal at the end of every episode so when they gave up that aspect I kinda lost interest. In other words, maybe it wasn't... EDGY enough?
I dread to wonder how mad your sister is after your Neverland review. I know the depths of sibling rage, and it is ever troubling. Oh yeah, for another edgy manga recommendation/motif: Edgy Battle Manga. I think a good trio would be Shigurui, Shamo, and Holyland.
I'm a huge fan of the Battle Royale movie. I'm pretty sure it was the first time I saw Takeshi Kitano outside of his game show. I read Drifting Classroom based on your recommendation and that turned out to be one of my favourite mangas. Not expecting nearly as much from this one but it might be fun.
Thanks for another great video! I recently reread Dororo AND Alabaster so I've got all kind of edges stuck in my mind at this point (I first read Dororo after watching the 2019 anime, I hadn't heard of Alabaster before you mentioned it in a video).
Just discovered your channel through my love of J-horror. Your content is dope. Can I suggest you do a video on Noroi: The Curse. Its one of my favourite J-horror and was at the tail end of the J-horror boom. I'm sure youve seen it
Maan, I remember reading Bokurano a few years back thinking it'll be your typical mecha manga with righteous characters destroying villains etc. boooy was I wrong. Some moments in the manga made me go "wtf" one of which was the teacher and student while Zearth and the gang are fighting (I don't want to spoil it, you'll have to read it to find out). Imagine kids dealing with adult matters, nihilism and such, great video Zettai. Idk if you've covered "Shamo" but you should include it if you haven't if you're planning to do another episode of edgy mangas. I'll try to remember and suggest other edgy mangas I've read, I'mma re edit this comment soon. I need to rewatch your other videos about edgy manga, hope to see more from you. :D
Also, have you heard of... You will hear the voice of the dead (Shibito no Koe wo Kiku ga Yoi), I don't know if it could fit in the spooky one but honestly the horror is nice, a nice manga to read to chill (with an amazing gory art style with cutesy elements and a horror related story, non linear though), has one of the best "oh so it was lovecraft all along!" Moments that pretty much works and kind explain waaaaaaay too much stuff yet it makes way more questions, don't expect all the answers, that ruined everything, like in real life! XD.
17:05 Gotta say... The authors hype way too much lewis, making him a power that the kids won't be able to defeat, and so, ruined that particular conclusion, also, emma getting heavily hurt but... Recover completely as well as other kids that... Would be difficult to safe even with a good hospital at hand. Too much conveniences for the already stablish setting... After that everything low a lot in quality except the art, that's fine!
promise neverland lost all it edgyness once they decided to forgive the demons.
great vid

Bokurano wins by a mile for me.

Main thing she took issue with was that I said "Just entering her teenage anime phase" and not "Raised on anime by her older brother"

8:30 my fave pilots lol
decided to checkout bokurano because of this vid.
Episode about edgy manga starring kids and no Misu Misou? Step it the fuck up, senpai
You should check out Biomeat Nectar
If you end up making a volume 5, I highly recommend "Alice in Hell"

Please cover Metamorphosis
Nice. Bokurano is my second favorite manga. Thanks for covering this. Will you ever cover Oyasumi Pun Pun? That's not a small task though.
I remember reading Royal Battle, i didn't like it much, it tried to hard to be edgy. Love the book and the movie.

Shamo has definitely been recommended a few times, so it's definitely on my radar
If they made a manga about triangles, it would be pretty edgy

Sounds interesting, I'll keep it in mind for future volumes!

@@ZettaiJapan Thanks!, You'll love it, though the ending is... Well, not for everyone, I love every page of it! XD.
11:47 Oh so we are going Ideon here, It's like I liking the depression at this point, it's tomino's fault not mine XD.
Bokurano is waaaay better than Narutaru from the same author. At least Bokurano has heart while Narutaru is pure edge for the sake of it
Talking about tomino, have you watched Aura Battler Dunbine?
Yup! Dunbine is pretty great, can't say the same for it's spin off: Garzey's Wing
@@ZettaiJapan Yeah... The fanbase is tiny but we prefer not to talk about it, wings of rean was better...
Bokurano needs more love.
Can you kamen rider black manga to next edgy manga
