hey Danny , great video , here in Australia Fanatec is impossible to get hold of , been like that for some time and likely to continue , so for me Thrustmaster tgt 2 is my choice for 2 rigs , had no issues with these at all , cheers
Hiya mate, thrustmaster products are really good, I’ve never had any problems with them. The new DD looks really good too, would like to try one some day. Merry Christmas
Hi, currently a TGT II owner recently bought it, it a great base, I’m coming from a T300. Thought the TGT II was a massive upgrade but it’s just ok def more force but I think that sometimes there’s some games that lacks on road detail. I see that you also owned the DD pro how do you feel the difference between both? I’m just thinking retuning the TGT II and switching to Fanatec. My only pain is that I already have a couple TM wheels and TLCM pedals. Going from scratch to Fanatec feels like starting all over again only difference will be having a DD base. Thank you!
Hi mate, going to a direct drive is a huge upgrade. The Fanatec DD pro is an excellent base. If you can afford to upgrade you’ll be blown away by how much more detail you feel.
Same here but after a few months on the T-GTII and T-CLM s I got the Logitech G pro over the Fanatec just because Trufeorce is like T-GT II on steroids
Hi Danny, I bought a TGT-Gran Turismo but I live in the United States and we use 110-120 V and my base came with the European connection that uses 220 -240 v What do you recommend for me to be able to use it? Thanks for your help
Hi Sergio, all you should need is the correct power supply. I’d give thrustmaster a call or email, they should let you buy one. Or you could maybe find one on eBay.
Danny. Where do you mount the power supply? I see some mounting holes that go all the way through the housing. Or do you just lay it on the floor? I want it to look neat. Thanks!
@@dannymoffatsimracer But!! I have to tell you, with pain in my heart I did sell it, because i had the SF1000 day 1 and that was a great wheel!! I have now the V2.5 formula wheel, great but missing the display etc
I nearly bought that wheel then the CSL DD came out and all bets were off - would still like to know how it ranks by comparison - I'm sure it's still pretty good
Brilliant video mate thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome buddy 👍

Interesting that you kept the T-GT II if you bought a DD later. The T818 is interesting, so have been looking for reviews...
It was really just because of the SF1000 wheel. I absolutely love that rim 🙂

@@dannymoffatsimracer nice! Even with the 5NM power supply?
@CSK4886 yes it still feels good at 5nm. I use the boost kit with mine so I’m used to higher torque now but it’ll still feel amazing

The G pro looks really good. I’d love to know what Logitech have planned for it in the future. They must have wheels planned among other things.
😸✌🏻

Hi bud, I just leave it on the floor
Funny, i started on Thrustmaster T300 and then went to the T-GT2 (better then T300) and now at DD Pro (better then T-GT2)
Good choice mate 😁

@@giogamer4825 I know bud, wish fanatec would bring out something similar.
@@giogamer4825 Very good combo that 👍

Hi Chris, It is pretty good, if it was cheaper it would easily be one of the best entry level bases. The transducer works quite well on gran turismo.
