Nice video I have a 1fzfe turbo 80 and like watching people building them .. did u end up getting it going .it look like your timing marks in the cams was 1dot next to 2 dots I’m pretty shore the 1 dot marks line up in the middle and the 2 dots to the out side

Hydraulicing can crack the block as well.
Is that a real hummer in the workshop or one of those fibreglass kit bodies that fit to GQ chassis? It's a tappet cover or rocker cover as in rocker arm not an interstellar spacecraft cover !!

AE Co 4x4 Did you clean off the carbon deposits from the top of the other 5 pistons before reassembly? What were the compression test numbers?

What’s the valve issue because I’m taking the head of my 1fzfe soon?
Usually valve stem seals, issues generally identified by a slightly smokey exhaust and using oil.
Did you finish this thing ?
Yeah we did actually, it all happened so fast we didn't ever get to video the end. It's was bloody brilliant. We will definitely do another in the near future for sure!
