If you follow the steps in the video you shouldn’t get one at all. But if you did, once you put the correct resistor in and hook everything else up and plug the battery back in you should be good
im gonna have to try this out since i had installed braum bucket seats in my 9th gen si coupe and my dumbass didn't think it would be this difficult to fix smh
@@thereviewandhowto2550 glad I found a video that has a similar setup as mine but brackets we have appear to be the same thankfully so I’ll have to try it out thanks 👌🏾
so that final passenger airbag system you removed from the rear seat. how did you have it so the car always thought someone was sitting in the passenger seat?
Do you mean the front passenger? And if so I had to put them in to the bracket so they would feel the weight of the seat and think there is someone there
@@thereviewandhowto2550 that's exactly what I wanted to know thank you, did you need any additional hardware to install the sensors in between the bracket and the sliders? or was it between the seat and the sliders?
@@thereviewandhowto2550 sorry to bug you again, but I've been stuck for the last hour. Can't figure out for the life of me how to take the sensors off the OEM seat. Are the bolts hidden behind the plastic bits on either side?
It very well could. I’m no expert when it comes to airbags. I did it cause I wanted racing seats and feel they are safer. I also had a hard time at being 6’1 fitting into those seats.

Hey question for you, once u get an airbag light, do u need a reset tool to remove the airbag light or will power cycling fix the issue?

Do know any tools to make airbag light off? My labor afraid to put it on because airbag security issue
3.3ohm what’s the watts ?

@@warthunderpro6791 I had a extra washer and bolt kit from Home Depot but I just used the hardware from Honda if I remember correctly

@@warthunderpro6791 you have to remove the whole bottom cushion and then a bracket is the best way to get to them
So we just need to buy 3.3 ohm resistor to trick the airbag sensor right
Yes that’s what worked for me. I still have and love my seats. Gonna be doing the update video soon
Do u think changing the racing car seat will mess the airbag system if incident happen?

Better off buying the original civic si seats,in my opinion it looks better and no airbag light
Well I don’t have the airbag light on anymore and I like these seats much better
Where did you get the brackets from?
I got them from www.carid.com
What seat rails did u use stock or aftermarket???
Aftermarket. They came supplied with the seats I believe
Is that a steering wheel cover? Do you have a link
No that is not a cover lol. It’s a upgrade steering wheel but I can get you a link if you want?
