The funny part was that I read a behind the scenes thing that said in the early development of the show it was planned that Capt.Awesome was going to be found out to be an undercover Russian agent.He had been under orders to get close to Ellie(I'm guessing to get info on her mom and/or dad).But the fans loved him so much as a 'good' guy they scrapped the idea to have him be the bad guy later LOL.

I'm glad they didn't, because it would have been to easy. The only way they can pull this one after everything was a fake (a spy who are good at mimicking) somehow manage to take (hopefully alive and kidnaped) Devon's identity so well, it would take a slip for Ellie to figure out something is a miss.
So THIS is when they talk about the bachelor party? It happened in season 2 episode 18, big fight, crying , the whole chabang and this is the end of it? Am I right to think this?
Poor Devon, he was literally ready to forgive Ellie and think he was to blame if she hypothetically was cheating. In many ways, and if it were any other person, even in a real life scenario, one can see that as sad and pathetic, but it shows how much he really loved her and willing to fix things for the sake of their relationship, even if it hurt him
@@MichaelDelvalle-nt4gp I agree, but we have to take into consideration the kind of person Devon is. Like, he's clearly not the type of guy we would usually think of as a "simp". He was clearly a player once before they even met. I think the implication is that he knows her so well and that her influence on him was so strong the only possible thing his brain could go to was that it was his fault. In any other context this is pathetic, but it comes off really sweet here, at least to me, based on what we know about his character. Or it's simply just a joke lol.
i used to not like casey and awesome. casey in season 1 i didn't think they did a good job developing his whole tough guy character. awesome i just though was corny haha but they both grew on me
Well originally his character was written to become a spy at the end of season 1. However, due to fans loving the character they decided against that and just made him a regular cool guy.
She was the hot body on the show. Lovely woman, excellent on the show, and a hot bod to die for they just didn't show it off much except for a couple episodes, like the costume party wow. Pretty much all the cast was excellent and not one person was out of place.
