If you ask truck drivers about pay for hauling, it depends on the load. Don't forget that drivers have maintenance cost to keep going. A broke down truck won't make you money. Great series so far, Alien 👽 Jim is a master to his craft of making maps, and you, MrSealyP are a master at showing us and working the maps, Great Job👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I just came across Sussex farm and love it, I’ve spent half the day watching your videos but come across something ironic. I bought Fs19 on release day but found it confusing with so much content and hadn’t watched any videos on gameplay. I shelved it and it grew dust. The ironic thing while watching this Let’s play episode 2. Months ago I came across Farmer’s Dynasty and found it easier to start. Eventually after getting a wife , a cat and a dog I found it lacking updated stuff was non existent. I eventually found a tutorial on Fs19 and played it ever since and will not go back to Dynasty. When you mention you just got it I thought it funny I went the other way. Thanks again for your videos so far and obviously owe Alien Jim respect .

Also, you'll never be able to please everyone. Some people will complain about the silliest of things. I mean if the money is too high for them for certain jobs, just give some of it away or set it to a harder economic difficulty. At least you aren't limited to selling just Manure, Slurry, Fuel, or Soybeans from the buy everything silo. On this map I get to keep all of my harvested crops for my animals and work for other people buying,selling, and transporting. It's very hard to go bankrupt on one of Jim's maps and I like that because it isn't stressful. You can play realistically and still make enough money to have fun. Win win in my book
Congrats on 40K. I think it's your good, honest, down to earth gameplay style that inspires such loyal fans. With the help of a PC your channel can't fail to grow huge! More power to you!

I know this is an old video and you may know this by now but the reason your truck is getting wobbly at high speeds and spinning you out in corners is because you went with the super short wheel base with only single rear axle. The double rear axles and longer wheel base provide a ton of stability. Very realistic 👌 Your setup is a lot easier to maneuver tho.
I had no issues so far getting a harvester into the workshop fuel bay, but - if you struggle getting it in there - there is always the scrapyard! There you can also fill the fuel storage and you have a workshop.
Another entertaining video as always, man. Apologies for rambling a bit. Had no idea that you could turn off the hedges completely as I haven't really been up to that part of the map, which is why I love your videos! Always something informative to learn. I've decided to leave them on with the collisions turned off. As for the fuel station, I couldn't refill either, and even though I watched both of your first looks, somehow I still managed to forget about the fuel refill point near the lime station and completely missed it when I scanned over the map, so I placed the gas station mod, but the modded MKU 32 didn't seem to work very well with it. I won't say that it failed to fill it, because it did fill it, but it does fill at a snail's pace and the invisible diesel trigger was the same way. Obviously the in game one will work much better as it was designed to work with the modded tanker. Now that I've re-learned where it was located lol. Thanks again and keep them coming!
I had similar experience. Driving home in my lorry a mitsubishi pajero passing me on outside lane, a mum and 2 toddlers, not speeding, her tyre blow out. She spun and flipped on to her side. I used the lorry to block the lanes she stopped across. Got the kids and her out to safety. Was very scary situation
This is a great map and have been loving it. As a mod to help with cheap tractors, I have gone with "Ferguson Pack" in the FS Mods which has old, cheap tractors and accessories that is honestly good looking and is great for roleplaying I believe. Take a look at it. Might help with what you might be looking for? Also, didn't see you mention it but the area between the chicken coop and one of the sheds is a pressure washing station to wash your equipment without having to leave your farm.
Best map in FS19 by far. Love map and is the most realistic rendition I can see of farming in the UK. Reminds me of the farm my Father used to work at.

It's so nice to have an "in" with the map maker, I would be emotional too if I were all over the map. Jim's maps are so fun and flexible, you don't really need to cheat in money to play them. Don't listen to the haters, they are just jealous of your success.... many prayers for the lady in the Mini... Congrats on 40k! Keep going and growing!
Mr Sealy. I will say this. Hydroplaning. Or aqua planing as you call it... is a very scary thing. It happens so suddenly and to make it worse the size of the vehicle does not matter. I've had my 5 ton pickup truck hydroplane into a ditch. Thankfully with my lift kit and such it wasn't a big deal.. but I will say this. You are a lucky man.. and yes it is very scary more so when you are the one in it. Chances are she would have smacked the barrier.. but if are doing 65 then she probably wouldn't be too badly hurt. Just a little banged up and sore for a few days. Been in a few wrecks myself
If u use the fork lift strap the pallet down then put the forklift in the pallet and raise it off the ground u can kinda have the delivery vehicle u were talking about and it stays put when driving
Before I subbed on the last video I noticed you were at 49.9k subs, and thought it would be kewl to be the 50th thousandth subscriber. Now I imagine within that 10 minutes I wasn't the only person whom subscribed, but I subbed and when I went into the next video it was at 50k...... So congrats, if I wasn't the 50th thousandth I was extremely close to it, so that's kewl! ✌️🏴 PS. Great vid mr sealy p thank you ,heads up you got me interested in sniper elite when you played it sometime back I have now got sniper elite 2,3 and 4 have you tried sniper contracts it’s a good game but.very annnoying as I keep getting shot hehe
I can’t get on with the faster lift I feel the truck runs on abit whilst loading, Also the forks hit the floor while driving round on different inclines. May look at getting a forklift using the fliegl low loader. Klutch simulations has a trailer with a forklift on the back on his hazzard county lets play on pc. Hopefully it comes out for console!

I paused after I thought you moved on to a new subject lol. The map doesn’t even look the same! Incredible work and loving the gameplay. By far my favorite map. Plenty to do while crops grow and during winter. Amazing
The sliding may be due to the forks mine been catching on stuff whilst going over different elevations causing loss of control, now using a forklift instead
the fasterlift mod is kinda like having a fork truck attached to your trailer cause' the truck itself is the fork truck. its only downside is that you need to be careful what trailers you pull with the truck in that configuration because the rear of the cabin might prevent the truck from turning normally as the front of the trailer is too close

Hey. I know this is almost a year old, but does Jim have a multi fruit map? ( maize plus, etc). I love Mercury farms but miss the extra crops. ( pc, btw )
MR SP,,next time you speak to AJ, could you please ask him (cos he is a hedge expert),if it is possible to make two types of hedge,one rough and one smoother so when a modded flail hedge cutter passes over it the hedge looks trimmed,,,just a thought and I will take all the credit for the idea,,thanks for going in this direction for your new LP..
For those looking for other ways for money other than diesel and water/air runs. Free like from the quarry nets about 21k at the garden centre in a 70k bsm trailer
Touching on trying to put down placable in the open area next to the cow’s. you can turn off hedge collisions put down you placables and then turn collisions back on if you wish (tested) but could be a issue given more time
I found something helpful I want to tell you and the Sealy peeps. If you are having trouble placing placables turn the hedge collision off and then you'll have a easier time placing what you are trying to place. Then you can turn the hedge collision back on. Hope this is helpful.
Mrsealyp...Just to make a comment on the point you brought up on Sussex farms e2 of your let's play. Is it possible to contact the value of any given contract to the economy difficulty level so as to adjust the amount paid out for a contract? I know it's not possible now, but could that be developed when a map is being created? Just an idea, but as I have no idea how maps are created I could be talking rubbish.
Well u can crash the economy tho I'd say all you needed their new sale point and a belt that picks up off the ground all provided you can just set up start the fill and at right time change difficulty$$$. I made 342 grand 15 seconds . I was lay out for my house picked the ridge overlooking the farm below was in the process of cutting up of trees are cut down . But it got dark then got the idea to see and u can walk a way and come back and be a billion dollars richer .
put the solids into a trailer, the liquids into a tanker and unload that trailer or tanker into the hazzard marked areas for seed, fert & co. If you have big bags or IBCs just place them in the hazzard marked area and wait until they've unloaded themselves. If you have pallets with bags on then you have to load them into a trailer or bucket to put them into there. They don't unload themselves.
Thanks will try this i did have ibc and pallets etc but it would not take them ill try load them in trailer and see if this works for me . Thanks for your reply 👍
@@spudrocket7370 in general the pallets with bags where the single bags dissappear while loading a seeder or fert. spreader need to be unloaded by pressing L3 (on PS4 - meaning you got to tell the implement to load from that pallet). The big bags, which have the opening on the bottom for unloading should unload automatically as soon as they are placed over an unload trigger. For liquids - usually the IBC will unload themselves pretty much as the big bags do - but sometimes they won't. If they don't unload automatically I recommend using the HS8 tanker trailer by Holger Sengstock.
39:33 (Farmer Rap) - Get crack-a-lacking. Facts, Tractors, Contracts and cash get my backing! Don't do ya back in! Grab a forklift stack pallets and get lapping. AlienJim went Boss Mode on the Mapping.

Haven't watched in a while (Because I haven't played FS19 in a while.), but I'm watching this and a few of Sim Farmer's vids of different farms, and his interpretation of how he landscapes and sets up farms. You should check him out on UA-cam; his "timelapse" vids are really cool. I highly recommend his vids for people to add to their lists of FS19 vids to watch. Anyhow, what I wanted to say was that whenever I DO play FS19, I tend to leave my equipment all over the map, simply because of two reasons: 1)I'm kinda sloppy that way, lol. And 2)Well, I'm the only one on the map anyway, so it's not like they're going to get moved or, God forbid, stolen from me, lol. God bless, SealyP! Merry Christmas! I cant even get transport missions??? I've made like 10 saves and tried different settings, waiting in game days ect but i cant get them to come through and I refuse to harvest fields that aren't mine 🤣 help !!!!!
Hey sealy, i have a question! Do you know if the booms can be locked open? I'm having issues when leaving the shop, entering the marina etc with double trailers...

And the amount of fuel the storage takes is so that when using the small liquid trailer to fill up [most people's choice] you will be left with 2019 l of fuel in the tanker :D. Just like having 19l of everything in storage or the 51 on Nevada. I do love the detail and please please thank AlienJim from me. He has spoiled me so much I can't really play other maps.
MrSealyp Yeah, I resorted to doing that to keep them open, thanks! If you get the chance, possible feedback to Jim would be to place switches to keep the booms open, would be great!
Yeah - a proper FS19 Bjornholm map with the 'easter eggs' of FS15 (double payout at the transport company and the railroad station) for console would be great! But what I would adore more would be 'Spectacle Island for FS19' ;)

That forklift truck mod is nuts! Such a great idea. Also love the hidden easter egg but I'm with you and prefer the hedges on.

Amazing map! Only bug I have found so far is being able to drive on water in the ponds and you can’t fill tankers out of them.

In the US we have fuel service companies that deliver off road untamed fuel for farm, marine and aircraft. The are called long hose services.

Could always fill a fuel trailer inside the stop and use that to fill larger equipment.

Touching on trying to put down placable in the open area next to the cow’s. you can turn off hedge collisions put down you placables and then turn collisions back on if you wish (tested) but could be a issue given more time
You could use the other fuel tank at plumpton worst case scenario in regards to 6:40 with the fuel pump.

I found something helpful I want to tell you and the Sealy peeps. If you are having trouble placing placables turn the hedge collision off and then you'll have a easier time placing what you are trying to place. Then you can turn the hedge collision back on. Hope this is helpful.

Mrsealyp...Just to make a comment on the point you brought up on Sussex farms e2 of your let's play. Is it possible to contact the value of any given contract to the economy difficulty level so as to adjust the amount paid out for a contract? I know it's not possible now, but could that be developed when a map is being created? Just an idea, but as I have no idea how maps are created I could be talking rubbish.
Well u can crash the economy tho I'd say all you needed their new sale point and a belt that picks up off the ground all provided you can just set up start the fill and at right time change difficulty$$$. I made 342 grand 15 seconds . I was lay out for my house picked the ridge overlooking the farm below was in the process of cutting up of trees are cut down . But it got dark then got the idea to see and u can walk a way and come back and be a billion dollars richer .

How do you fill up the seeds and pestasides etc silo . At main farm
put the solids into a trailer, the liquids into a tanker and unload that trailer or tanker into the hazzard marked areas for seed, fert & co. If you have big bags or IBCs just place them in the hazzard marked area and wait until they've unloaded themselves. If you have pallets with bags on then you have to load them into a trailer or bucket to put them into there. They don't unload themselves.

@@spudrocket7370 in general the pallets with bags where the single bags dissappear while loading a seeder or fert. spreader need to be unloaded by pressing L3 (on PS4 - meaning you got to tell the implement to load from that pallet). The big bags, which have the opening on the bottom for unloading should unload automatically as soon as they are placed over an unload trigger. For liquids - usually the IBC will unload themselves pretty much as the big bags do - but sometimes they won't. If they don't unload automatically I recommend using the HS8 tanker trailer by Holger Sengstock.
The tractor unit in that configuration is a bit lightweight. I have had it spin me out with unloaded trailers. Still like it though.

I think your steering issues are a combination of a short wheelbase, to much speed and maybe to much weight towing behind. I think lol
Haven't watched in a while (Because I haven't played FS19 in a while.), but I'm watching this and a few of Sim Farmer's vids of different farms, and his interpretation of how he landscapes and sets up farms. You should check him out on UA-cam; his "timelapse" vids are really cool. I highly recommend his vids for people to add to their lists of FS19 vids to watch.
Anyhow, what I wanted to say was that whenever I DO play FS19, I tend to leave my equipment all over the map, simply because of two reasons: 1)I'm kinda sloppy that way, lol. And 2)Well, I'm the only one on the map anyway, so it's not like they're going to get moved or, God forbid, stolen from me, lol.

@@MrSealyp Was thinking the same thing. And the amount of fuel the storage takes is so that when using the small liquid trailer to fill up [most people's choice] you will be left with 2019 l of fuel in the tanker :D. Just like having 19l of everything in storage or the 51 on Nevada. I do love the detail and please please thank AlienJim from me. He has spoiled me so much I can't really play other maps.
MrSealyp Yeah, I resorted to doing that to keep them open, thanks! If you get the chance, possible feedback to Jim would be to place switches to keep the booms open, would be great!

Yeah - a proper FS19 Bjornholm map with the 'easter eggs' of FS15 (double payout at the transport company and the railroad station) for console would be great! But what I would adore more would be 'Spectacle Island for FS19' ;)
