Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself. - Розваги

ShartimusPrime no, no, don’t be silly. If I were jabbing I would have said it was an “iconic” cover or “classic” cover”. Lol actually I only found out after I looked it up when Zach Oat mentioned it in a sdcc interview. One I saw the cover I was like, “huh, that’s a pretty popular cover.”

Yes, you are right, althought the straps never show in the interior comic arts :), i guess jim lee just try to modified her costumes or it just cyclops who lend the straps to her :)
Nice pull. (On the comic cover, it looks like the scabbard strap and the pouch belt are all one piece.)
Psylocke according to the comics was 5'11. Rogue was 5' 8. So yeah she was taller than her.

Had to come back to this. WE REALLY NEED AN UPDATED PSYLOCKE. Man, hopefully hasbro revisits her with pinless stuff and all

Wow this is a great sculpt, great review shartimus, I agree shes perfect, shes a lil on the tall side, but none the less looks like she came straight out the comics.
The yellow straps are from a cover where psylocke has it and it is in the background while sabertooth is kicking the ass of wolverine

I actually really like the yellow pouches, and it never hurts to have more accessories. But if I do take them off, it’s a lot easier to dunk the figure in hot water and pull the belt down over the legs.
That Capcom design really did it for all of us nuff said make that version legs and all.
I love the strap accuracy diamond select has. I may scoop this up just hate how tall she is. But very good looking figure. Thanks for the review man.

She works for being really leggy, too bad that sash has such bland paint. Overall she looks cool and i may add her to the collection down the road. I randomly keep the xmen selects going when I can afford it. Awesome review as always man.
Excellent review Shartimus!. I am new to collecting Marvel Select and Legends. I decided to get MS Rogue and loved it. I had a feeling this figure was gong to be good from pics but I didnt know HOW good. Now if Diamond Select can make a '90s Storm Marvel figure on the level of quality of this figure, I'll be in heaven.

hey if you cannot get this one would you recommend people getting this one i cannot find the legends one at all for a good price all 38 or 40$ for her .
Cool figuer. The paint job wasnt the best but I guess you could correct that yourself. One of my biggest gripes when they make with characters with long hair or capes. They put so much attetion in making the figuer articulate then put a hard platic piece on it that underminds all that effort!. One of my biggest problems with the New X-Men box set. Storms cape is cloth but her hair piece is hard plastic which just bugger it up!
Shartimus continuing to show he's the best! Great fun video I highly enjoyed the whole thing! Tough to pick a favorite Psylocke figure, I think the best hasn't come yet! Each one has good qualities and drawbacks. Hopefully in the future we'll get the complete best figure....

I don’t own her yet, but I want to, I don’t really collect Marvel Select, just Marvel Legends.
I do own MS Hulk and Rogue, though. I did the leg modification to Rogue, where you pop off the lower leg/foot and remove the calf below the green band. She now scales with ML figures, and I’m happy.
I’d love to do so with Psylocke, but she’s too leggy.

What's with select females having out of proportion long legs lately?
That was Psylocks thing the figure sculpter made a comment about making sure she would have the extra long legs
@@saturnalia3354 yeah but even rogue legs feel kinda out of proportion. Not talking on the figure height, but the legs feel a bit too long.

I think it’s an attempt to mimic the exaggerated proportions of the 90s comic art they’re based on
Right ?,but i prefer long legs,as to the latest Legends with out of proportion breasts.
It’s probably due to licensing. They don’t want to be too close in scale to marvel legends so they make the figures waaaay taller.
i am having trouble finding the marvel legends Psylocke should i get Dimond select one because her legends is going in the 100s stupid how i have to buy some characters Dimond select versions over there legends counterparts the scalpers increasing the damn prices
I believe in the 90s X-Men #1 and mebey first two comics psylocke had the yellow straps And sheth. I have so many psylocke's in my room just to break them up i might keep the traps on.

She's back in original white, Elizabeth Braddock form in the comics now. Turned her back without much fuss too. Just kind of happened abruptly and everyone moved on.

I always thought Psylocke should be shorter, but she' actually one of the taller X-woMen (5'11"). To me, Rogue would be more impressive if she were taller than 5'8". Yet the comics rarely depicted their heights accurately.

Daaamn...this does look nicer than the Marvel Legends figure. And it destroys the Revoltech one in the looks department. As for the straps, eh. Personally, I'd be petty and just cut'em off. Comic cover art or not, if it ain't actually in the pages, what's the point??? Meanwhile, I'd *LOVE* to see Bandai & Tamashii Nations take a crack at Psylocke in the S.H.Figuarts line, like they've done with several other Marvel characters (largely movie peeps, but still...).
As for the butterfly, not sure if the comics ever referred to it as such, but it's been part of one of her attacks since the videogame Marvel Super Heroes...called Kouchou-gakure.
And yes, she's ALWAYS been a long legged voluptuous seductress. Between that and her ability to kick all kinds of ass, that's why she's my favorite Marvel character (with the main pimp Wolverine being a distant second favorite).

Do you have that dream where you Thanos your neighbors? Anyhow, I love this Psylocke figure but she looks super awkward in dynamic poses. You should know by now, Marvel Selects only look good in vanilla poses. Learn it. Like it. Live it.

She looks great but at 7.5" she'd be taller than even my Marvel Select Iron Man and Captain America. Is she supposed to be a huge woman these days or something? I used to see her in comics I read years ago (and the Marvel vs Capcom games) and thought she was just an average sized gal. Seems too tall to work in my 7 inch figures collection.
