Just to give you all some appreciation for what's on display here, the cutscenes for "Abe's Oddesey" came out for the PS1 in 1997. Think about that. This was a time when 3D gaming and CG movies were still a relatively new thing. I think the first Toy Story had just come out two years earlier. They blow any other video game cutscenes from that era out of water. Most PS1 cutscenes looked like garbage, but the ones from Abe's oddesey felt like something out of a atmospheric movie. They still hold up artistically. I'm not sure what the creators did that was so special. Maybe the fact that the game was designed and directed by a man who was also had a background as a painter and animator helped.
Begs the question tho why Molluck wasn't sparkling like a goddamned night sky and a cigar wrapped in gold that took up like 75% of his mouth wasn't in his mouth.
I really love the pictures at the end of each game where the developers appear as employees of each game's evil factory! Whoever convinced the other developers to join in on that is a real genius!

The things that scared me most in Abe's Oddysee, when i was just a little kid, was the intro, where they showed the mudokon pops picture, (they changed it in the re-mastered version, to fit in with the other ones), the big rib cages falling down from somewhere that you have to avoid, and the bloody and dark theme pretty much trough the whole game. :P

Now ,after 15 years ,I finally understand what the Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus were about ,since back then ,as a child ,I knew nothing about the story of the two ,since my game was in German ,some how ,and my German knowledge is limited. I thought that the factories were producing crates and barrels and stuff like such ,not meat and brew out of them. 15 years....
I Remember my Mom brought this game & started playing it, I thought it was Wack because I was Only into Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat,Etc. Lol I used to always hear her yelling when she played, Then One Sunday I Actually Sat Down with Her & We played Together! Wow it was such a Good game that Really made U use your Brain, Lol my brother & I helped beat it together over time, this game brings back such Good Memories #RipMom

Im glad I never got those endings, because I would have made a racket for the devs to put in an option where I could abandon thier sorry asses.
Might Guy It’s called Karma ( what goes around comes around ) in the games they call it Quarma, if you save you buddies, good Quarma ( Hero ) if you don’t bad stinky Quarma ( death ). I am sure Soulstorm will have two endings, and by the looks of things we will have at least 5000 mudokons to save.

My mom did something similar, except my family's Xbox broke and she traded around 30-40 Xbox games at GameStop for the price of a few PSP games. I was alright at the moment, but in the long run, it's terrible considering that there were so many classics were just easily traded for "Predator: the Game" and a few other non-classic PSP games.

I think you can get it on the Xbox 360 marketplace, but I heard something about how they were not made to be HD to stay under the maximum data limit to fit the standards of making the game downloadable on the Xbox marketplace. The PS4 version of the playstation marketplace forces you to use the crappy "PS Now" feature to play them, so don't use that o_o, use the PS3 instead if you prefer one of the Playstations. There's also a ground-up remake of the original called "New n' Tasty" that's out for the PS4 store (thankfully, not just for PS Now), PC, and (just recently) Xbox One, but they're working on a PS3, PSVita, and Wii U version.
if I was to compare the oddworld games tones with texas chainsaw massacre it would be: Oddysee - Texas Chainsaw 1974, very gritty and dark, and the humor is subtle Exoddus - Texas Chainsaw 3, tries to be even darker than the original, but has a very goofy side Munch - Texas Chainsaw 2, over the top humor, cheesie dialogue, and characters parodying themselves Stranger - Texas Chainsaw 2003, a fresh start with a more serious tone, but is no match for the original.

Assuming that was how he got the eggs from Lulu, possessed him again and handed them over. I played this game on my friends computer as a kid and had NO fucking clue what the hell i was supposed to do with the commands, so i just said fuck it and didn't play it. 6 months ago (Age 30) i picked it up because winter sucks and i needed to keep occupied after work.
