in terms of no collision camera thing, the mod additional game settings has this option as well as other useful ones. These act as global settings too so apply to multiple game saves (as far as i know from my own testing)

I would love to see survival challenge come back on a map that can handle the largest realistic machines in the game.
Get rid of the JCB. I know the New Holland telehandler mod can tow everything. At least it has worked for everything for me so far.
I think the JCB is the only telehandler that can’t tow anything at all. Definitely worth replacing it with something.
Daggerwin, the wrapping of the sausage inside the shed is the brightest idea you've had in a while. :D

I thought it was an ingenious move myself. I've been storing a certain amount of hay+straw+silage bales in that area myself, I have larger supplies stored in other areas as well, but I kero some in that area too , but only for times when I don't have a lot of time but MUST feed hungry bovine.
Is it only me that is like... "Time is money mate" 🤣🤣 when you rent the machine from the farm then take 10 minutes to drive up to get it 🤣🤣🤔 Those extra minutes could save you when you're returning it 😊👍
Just watched your video on knaveswell farm from FS 15, I would watch that series whenever I could and now I’m watching this. You inspired me to play back when 15 was out and I was like 6 now I’m 13 and still love watching your videos! You’ve came such a long way and I’ve loved being here to watch you progress. Hi daggerwin big fan been watch you for ages now, just letting you know there's a mod on modhub that increases the tractor light distance makes it alot easier to see and more realistic defiantly recommend
It would be nice to see another telehandler since you have the same one on the other series and get one that you can attach trailers etc.
You know you already have a forest full of spruce ready to harvest, just above field 21!

The lights on the Fendt 714 Vario is really good! So close to the tractor and all around it. Best i have seen in this game (and 19).
All that snow. We got ~30CM here in last tow days. (This isn't even remotely close to what we normally get. >2Meter is like the norm.)

You wanna have fun in the snow, get a TLX...with its massive power and low weight, it will drift for DAYS. However, TLX is VERY useful as its much cheaper and faster and powerful than a tractor, for logistics work. Remember, every minute used by a tractor to move bales, grain, supplies from the store, etc, is higher and higher expensive tractor repair bills. The same for the JD Gator. I got the JD Gator because the TLX wasn't yet available. However, I still use the JD quite often, as it has a great niche on the farm (can run and SLOWLY tow my mixer from outside to in the barn, can fert with a very small width to fert missed spots, I wrap my round bales with the Gator as well, VERY cheap implementation). JD Gator is only $14k and TLX can run between $28k and $50k. I'd recommend to spend $36k and get the bigger TLX, but upgrade its engine later.
You WILL need that power - going uphill, south of the farm to the southern BGA, fields, and sellpoints, will limit you to a 25kL load with a 300HP tractor. Those inclines are HUGE.
If you download additional game settings of the mod hub there is an option disable camera collision
Nice vid as always. There's a mod on modhub "Additional game settings". There's a lot of options there, disable camera collision is one of them. Try it out.
And coursplay for not having to worry about the workers so much, works a treat, watch scroft's channel and GPS for it is more realistic with a big sprayer on manual...
To normalize your weather, I recommend to switch to 2 day months, but double speed to x10. Same amount of time per month, but no potential disaster from raining/snowing 12 hours (2 weeks) straight.
Another great advantage of more than 1 day, is gauging your time. If 2 days, and you have only planted 25% of the fields planned that month on the first day, then you better buy/lease more/bigger equipment to finish it in that second day. If you finish all of your monthly work in 1 day, then you know that with your current equipment you can double the acreage you own for planting/harvesting crops that month.
Else, its easy to fall into a trap of having too much equipment or too many fields, and then either wasting earning potential by FFDing...or cheating by slowing down time, just so you can finish your fields....I do consider slowing down time as cheating....you can farm the entire map at x0.5 time with a 3m seeder and small harvester if you wanted. Better to plan effectively.
Had the exact same pedal and cruise control issues, have tried fiddling around, swear the latest GIANTS patch has caused it, also please upgrade the engine of the Fendt (to 720/4 - 120/46hp) and the JD 6230R- 6250R (280-300hp)
Great video. Got to witness not only progress, BUT ALSO got to see that Daggerwin does in fact know how to take a moment to enjoy himself during a hard day's work.
Snowrunner and Mudrunner are 2 good games for slipping and sliding around if you like that sort of thing.
Looking into the distance in winter on this map, you can't tell the difference between the game and real life.
Definitely the most realistic map I've seen so far.
Consider leasing the baler/wrapper which will do 150cm bales all in one next time, much easier to deal with.

You need to pull your peddles apart and clean the potentiometer from all your cat hair. Is a common issue with the Logitech peddles. Kristoff.
You'll need to clean the contacts on your pedals I had the same problem with mine, just do a search on UA-cam and you'll find a video on how to do it!

I'm in Scotland and I just want it to snow already to get it over and done with, it's been trying to snow for weeks not, this morning it was that snow and rain stuff, I'm like just snow already you know you want to lol, it's so cool as well I feel like am sanding in font of my freezer with the door open lol
You obviously missed various of the rally games in the ninties and early noughties. I remember several having great now rallies in Sweden with great slides!
I like to put wrapped bales in the silage clamp, doesn't matter if they're outside, and the effluent drainage is all in place.

Get yourseld a sled if you want to play in the snow. I don't think a JCB Telehandler is the right thing to have fun with!

The lights looks great, but there is a mod that allows the light to travel further, it looks really good and would probably make night time works look even better in your videos, maybe you could try it out your self and make a comparison?
If you use the pottinger impress 185vc pro you can make silage bales as you roll the 180cm bale. It makes the bale and then wraps them straight away. Individual bales of silage can then be stacked and stored.
The other base game wrappers including the baler with a built in wrapper can only wrap up to 150cm. At 180cm they can't be wrapped..

Camera Collisions..... On modhub there is the Additional Game Settings Mod. Then in game under Additional Settings, Set Camera Collision to OFF. No more camera zooming in and out!
NO!, snow on the trailer, bales, tractor and front loader but snow in the fields Gaint just not doing
a good job. I'm just not convinced buying the game! I will just say with real life farming. I like your videos Dagg. keep them coming!
@Daggerwin you should try the realistic light mod for your tractors its on mod hub and its super helpful for night work
you should get a better lighting mod for your headlights. makes life much easier when you have to work at night

BTW, not confirmed by myself, but someone tested poplar and stated you get 7x the yield if you use a Forage Harvester. That would make poplar VERY viable compared to other crops. Otherwise, its a waste of time and space.
Will have to test this now. Will be fun even if not true. Gives me a reason to try them. Havent messed with forage harvesters much yet :)

The pintle hitch on the back of the jcb is bugged. I believe the hitch on the new Holland telehandler works correctly though.

Additional game settings has a setting in it to do that, and there is a separate mod called no camera collision.
