Desert Hell for 40 DAYS and NIGHTS - What really happened to him?

The story of Jesus walking freely into the desert to fast and be tempted by the devil is a significant event in the life of this man. This period of forty days and nights without food or water was a profound experience both psychologically and physically.
For most of us going 24 hours without food or water by choice is a tough one. However according to the bible Jesus not only went without for 40 days and nights he also spent it locked in a mental battle with the king of lies and deception. First up where did he spend that time of temptation with the devil, and then the real implications of this intense spiritual and physical trial.
According to the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 4:1-11), Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness.

After being used to 3 meals a day. I first went to 2 then 10 hours between meals. Eventually 1 meal a day. My record is 3 days and boy it was more of a mental torture than body! That’s when I realized the mind gives up before the body does.

Jesus only abstained from food while he was fasting. He was allowed to drink water.

I have fasted many times and twice while fasting multiple days I ran into a non believer who came up to me and said that I was literally glowing.
My point is that if done right a fast can increase spiritual recognition of self.

Theres no evidence in the scriptures he didnt drink water, only says he did not eat and after 49 days he was hungry. Just saying 😌
