Obviously they build them with absolutely no regard for safety as I would expect anyone with half a brain would refrain from putting an electrical outlet directly under “Any” water source? If it was a house without wheels that would be a violation of the most basic codes required by law?
Well the question of why a breaker didn’t pop before they had to break out a fire extinguisher comes to my mind as well?Lets hope Integra can and will do better before someone is seriously hurt or worse!
@@MichaelRTyo The breaker did trip. It just threw off a lot of smoke, so my daughter grabbed the fire extinguisher and sprayed it under the sink. The only thing that burnt was the plug, thank God.
Should have popped a breaker before it caused heat sufficient enough to smoke and melt that receptacle like that? And the fact that it was in n that proximity to a water source without being on a ground fault interrupted circuit should cause you great concern about what other electrical issues might exist in the vehicle.
I have an Odyssey 26d and the hot water tank leaked which is located under the refrigerator. The electrical plug for the refrigerator was screwed to the floor inches from the hot water tank. My electrical plug had the burn holes on all sides. It was not pretty!!
Crazy! Thanks for sharing

Poor engineering and/or poor installation in this case. Entegra can do better!

Do you have the yellow spots on your flooring yet?
No, mine is a 2022. Hopefully I won’t have that issue. Seems to affect 2021 and earlier units.
@bobbycandtherv they did tell me they were changing the adhesive. Only took them 4 years.
