20€ Behringer mixer

The only purpose of this video and the music in it, was really to record something on the 20€ Behringer MX2642A mixer i bought 2nd hand because it was so cheap. Soundwise the mixer was "ok" with good preamps & EQ but the user interface.. my goodness.. having such cramped layout with the array of tiny buttons and miniscule black labels on silver background it was a bit confusing experience to say the least. I guess you could get used to it after a while, or not. I did like the mute/solo buttons that came in handy instead of jerking faders up and down for muting. Also the extensive connectivity patchbay on the back w/direct outs, inserts etc offer loads of connecting/routing possibilities. Oh, and i did fabricate teak cheeks from scratch for the sheer hell of it so that atleast the unit is now more pleasing to watch, if nothing else. Perhaps not the finest product in the world but it does its job, is compact sized and cheap so there you have it. Now go watch something else. What a weird track this turned out to be.
