dont know what sorcery Suzuki does to their inline 4 motors to make them sound so amazing. they always sound like a mean beast especially the deseleration pops:P
I have the later model of this and am going to be changing the exhaust soon... After watching, maybe more listening to this, I'm seriously considering just removing it. That sound without the can is monstrous! 😍
I liked it with no muffler at all. Sounded like the bikes in the original Mad Max movies. A short tailpipe extension to keep it from blowing on your boot...

Hey Roland, thanks for watching. Nice to hear about the sound, it´s recorded with stock Note 2, but still it´s quite far from real :-) The exhaust came without any logo. I made no changes to it.
I just bought a 2008 with no pipe, or" hater piped", just a small custom turn out, and it's annoyingly loud :\ don't get me wrong, it sound badass when riding at speed, but I can't imagine it being good for the valves, or my relationship with my neighbors >< gotta change this sht fast.

As written somewhere bellow, exhaust change is real piece of cake, three screws. Even one handed you have to do it easily in five minutes! Don´t worry. Stickers are from Ebay, couple pounds for a complete pack for both sides engine, forks and more. Find a "Suzuki GSX650F Owners Club" facebook group, because if I remember correctly, one guy from UK is selling it. Have fun! :-)

The 3 bolts are off but it won't budge, it's never been off since new and now 6 year old, it's like welded on lol Tried warming bike up, not sure what to try next, probe needs heated up with torch round join which I don't have Any ideas mate???
Ive just brought one in Australia snd the decals are different like on the casing near the back brake and on the tank and the rims .... so is that custom.

Hi and thanks! Only the wheel stripes and a few engine stickers were added. The rest is completely stock, made in 2008, European version. 20 bugs uprgade, lol :-)

Did this bike come with the white pin strippong around the rims , the fitting on the tank lid & the black decals on the sides of the motor above tge brake pedal or are they after market ?

Even if it would, which I doubt, I wouldn't recommend it. The engine parameters are so much different that it can't bring anything good. Use the one made for your bike.

The Yoshimura R-77 carbon exhaust still sounds the best...

Mine is K8 and removing the slip went really easy. Maybe try some anti rust?

No, sir. Standard 160. Don't do it just for the „imaginary balls“ of the 180 tire. It will reduce the agility of the bike.

@user-ti7pj5pj7b change your rim from the 4.5" to 5" so you can fit a 180 without causing issues.

It's really very easy. Three screws. With the right tools it's 5 minutes of work. No rocket science.

@@Tomas-lx8dp just fitted a masuri slip on exhaust by speed demon with a removable baffle and it sounds and crackles like a race bike on gearing down
