- Hey y’all! Welcome to Vlogmas day 6! Today was a rainy nasty day but that didn’t stop me! I’m sharing an amazing thrift haul (the struggle is real with this haul). I share some changes I’ve made in some of my Christmas decor. I got a surprise visit and I share our guest bathroom all dressed up for Christmas plus more!!

Keep the boy and girl statues from Kirklands. When you are done enjoying them then you put them in your booth... that's part of the fun of running your own booth.
I have those trees too. Yum!
When I find something that agonizes me over how to utilize ( booth or home) I keep in my home for sometime and after awile I can generally let go.😊😊😊 i certainly can relate.

I would keep the two Angels. To fix their spots and since they’re not vintage , I would antique stain them or wax them to cover the spots and that would age them more. Love them!!
I covered the few spots with antique wax and it worked perfectly. ❤️
When you love something that much, it was likely meant for you. ❤

I did a Google search and it looks like they're reproduce of famous sculptures. The boy's name is Jareth and the girl is Sarah.

Love all the little Tweeks you've made.. really cute. And you really scored today.. bless your heart making that decision on the 2 little statues!( that would be hard for me too) Glad you used the puff paint idea.. you were the first person i thought of when i saw someone using it.. they turned out so cute!😊 I'm sure you're booth sales will pick up after the holidays, don't get discouraged! Wish I lived closer, I'd grab quite a few things i saw in there😁 Anyways See you tomorrow for day 6.. enjoy your day!

You can always check with your daughter too and see if she would like the drummer boy and other. They are very nice.

I love Vlogmas because I get to visit you every evening!! I’ve been making your ground beef and Spanish rice dinner since you told us about it awhile back! It’s one of our favorite meals now ☺️ I also made James quesadillas and they were so yummy!

I totally agree about the Reese cups. I thought I was the only one that thought that. Keep the little boy and girl if in your heart you love them. Keep them till they are Vintage. You won’t make that much since they are Kirkland. Oh by the way, I will be traveling from Maryland to New Orleans for the Christmas Holiday. I will be going over to D’Iberville to your booth. I can’t wait. Would love to meet you there. I told you in the past, I watch you every morning your on having my coffee. You need to look for a Goodwill Outlet near you. They sell by the pound. I bet you would love it and would find all kinds of goodies. One thing is you have to have time to spend looking in the bins. They have rules you can't go into the bins when they bring new ones out until they say you can. People line up around the bins waiting to dig in the bins to see what they can find. If the bins are already out you don't have to wait. Or it may be best that you ask someone. Just a thought, you may already know about the outlet. Love your videos.
The only one near me is in Mobile, AL and it is awful. I’ve went several times and it’s literally garbage. 😏
Im Back....I love the addition of the little Critters to the Nativity Scene.
Last year i did a. nativity scene in an old crate complete with real pine needle branches..
I didnt have any Wise Men to add to Mary Joseph and The Baby Jesus for the scene .....However.....I had a Mary and Joseph from Another set and I had them doing double duty as 2 of the Wise Men..
Mary and Joseph were standins 😂😂😂😂

It was hard but I put them in the booth. If they don’t sell, then I will definitely be keeping them. Those little gingerbread cookies are so easy and fun to make. I’ve had the best time with them..❤️🎄

Donna, please try not to stress out too much over your booth-remember it’s supposed to be fun!!! I can certainly imagine how hard it is to thrift for your booth and then want to keep the items for yourself!!! You know, life is really short-if you want something keep it!!! You can always enjoy it yourself for a while and they pass it on to your booth…!!! The little lambs are absolutely adorable and so perfect for the curio display in your bedroom!!! The salt dough gingerbread men are adorable too!!! You should try making some of the gingerbread men small enough to make them a cute Christmas pin or necklace using ribbon for the necklace. I have two carved wooden Santas that I picked up at a local craft fair many years ago-I use one as a Christmas tree ornament and the other is a necklace I made using ribbon-these Santa’s are at least 30 years old
if not older and I still love them and get compliments on my necklace whenever I wear it!!! I can still see the man sitting in his booth at the craft fair carving the Santas!!! Great memory!!!

A few years back I got my daughter these lil gingerbread angels that were ornaments. Maybe you could make one for the tree topper. I think Target has some lil ornaments like that this year.

I think selling the gingerbread in your booth is a great idea. I’m going to try making some for myself. I think you should keep the little boy and girl; you seem to love them so much. I tweak my decor ALL the time and my husband says, “I think it looked fine”. 😂 I can’t wait to see Delana’s Christmas decor. I love that your sweet daughter in love thinks of you. So sweet. I have a whole set of dishes with the snowman, “We can build a snowman”…I love them. Your guest bathroom is decorated beautifully….you have done a beautiful job in your home. ❤

It makes my heart so warm when I see somebody so excited about decor. I live in an apartment that's pretty large, and my walls are filled. And I think to myself oh my goodness I have so much stuff, and then when I see someone like you with all of your beautiful things on the walls and decorations, I know I'm not crazy. Your home is just beautiful! Merry merry Christmas! And keep those two figurines.

The bathroom looks super. I love the red birds too. I have them all over the kitchen. With a splash of Gingerbread. . I love the drummer boy and the girl holding the sweet little lamb. Couldn't you put them in your bedroom.? On the top of your Armour . They would go with your natively , baby Jesus and the animals. The drummer boy is playing a tune for the Christ Child. I feel you should keep them, you love them so. Use them, you can always sell them later, if you choose do do so. You deserve them . There I said my thoughts, and I'm sticking with it. Lol 😊 ❤❤❤❤

I think you should REALLY keep those 2 figurines. Those are so cute and I know you will do something really cute with them. I think if you don't keep those you'll be sad. You love those too much to give them away. Everything looks so good. I love all the tweaks. The bathroom is so pretty too. I love the Garland above the shower. I wish I could recreate that look but not enough space.♥️

The little boy and girl go so well with your Old World theme with the sugared fruit and the Nativity, i understand why you want to keep them. You could use them this year and maybe put them in your booth later. That way you get the satisfaction of seeing them and can always sell later.

Hello Donna! The candle holder that your daughter-n-love got you, would match even better if you could make it look like sugar fruit. Also, honey, KEEP the boy and girl. If it sells, you might regret your decision to sell them. At least keep them for one season. You can always put them in your booth next Christmas. 🎄 😃🎄

It is a struggle when you find fantastic things and you know you should put them in your booth but you want to keep them. I recently found a beautiful heavy metal Christmas sleigh and I was tempted to keep it but I put it in my booth and if it doesn’t sell then I think it was meant to be mine.
