      It gave her a lift.
      The man with her, is her husband Dr. Robert Levine. You can see that he's watching out for her. They had been married for 34 years which shows something.
      I think he saw that it would be good for her that people with would good feelings toward her came to her and permitted it.

    I dont know what to say. When MTM passed I took the day off work. When I was younger (born in 1962) MTM was the model of what a Mom and a wife should be. A standard if you will. With the MTM show, she evolved from Laura Petrie into her own unique character, still maintaining the standard to which others should be held. I remained single most of my life searching for my own "Laura Petrie" and came close a few times but no cigat. The television world is a lesser thing without her she is missed and will always be remembered.

      Would she have felt hurt if no one asked her for her autograph?

    • @jld2554
      @jld2554 7 років тому

      No! If you look carefully, she wasn't well. It was probably the last thing on her mind. A "hi Mary" would have been enough. Get real Tiny twatz.

      Your comment would have been enough without this jackass ending of the following:
      "Get real Tiny twatz."

    Very sad to see the impact of sickness at the end of life. Mary was always a "looker" especially in the mid 1970's. That's how I'll always remember her. She was a class act.

    1:20 She's real nice actually. Under the circumstances she signed autographs.
    The guy is with her is genuinely concerned.
    Sorry. The "guy" with her, is her husband Dr. Robert Levine. You can see that he's watching out for her. They had been married for 34 years which shows something.
    I think he saw that it would be good for her that people with would good feelings toward her said hello, came to her and asked for autographs so he permitted it.

    This is so horrible, and painful to watch. .. Hounding her, following her, making her sign autographs, when she is clearly in failing health. And the camera going up and down her body, zooming in on her face. .. SHAME

      25531 2013, when she went to LA to do the Hot in Cleveland reunion. After Valerie Harper announced her cancer scare. It would be her last ever public appearance. A couple months later she had a bad fall and broke her leg, nearly died in the hospital of pneumonia. Her health went into a rapid decline after that.

    Theres been a lot of rumors she's not (at least back in the day) a pleasant person at all in real life off camera. Regardless, 'here' she was very, very lovely, classy, warm, PATIENT..too patient! (my god those vultures were swarming over to woman who is blatantly struggling and not in good health!) for fking autograph. :# Like most said...they could care less about her- just getting that autograph to try to sell on ebay. How much you wanna bet majority of them did just that just from looking at and hearing those skunks. Esp that fat blonde woman and that the first guy who looks 20 and keeps calling her Ms Moore. So fake and not authentic. All they're 'wanting' and seeing are a few possible damn dollars.
