So in the enclosed assemblies as per ford Ranger I guess it doesn’t matter if the ribbons are not well separated. The video shows the assembly full and the copper is pretty much just jammed in. Maybe these should not be sold for this application.
This DOES NOT show what to do with the extra cable and controller box which is dangling behind the rubber seal in the first type.
So how are you going to close the covers on the H7 at the last part of the video?

Can the heat ribbons touch the battery?
As the factory battery on the Hilux is so close will this affect the ‘cooling’ of the LED buld?

@@race_bib 2010 dude. You may need to look at a sealed LED kit. I think I've seen them online, Stedi may actually do a conversion...

@race_bib No worries brother. Just be wary of the local rozzers. Some states are let's say it 'more enthusiastic' about after market lights for compliance than others. Depending where you are, a good set of spotties or light bar may be a safer option. Have fun either way my dude...🤙

If it's the PX2 model, should be a H11 low beam and HB3 high beam. Best to use the vehicle selector in the top left-hand corner of the website as certain years can have variations between them.
My captiva has sealed headlights but no way do I have that sort of room to play with

Is there a option for high beam for the discovery 4? Because there’s only fog lights, Parker lights, and low beam but no high beam
The high beam would be integrated into the low beam headlight

What it doesn't show is 1hr of swearing, fumbling and general frustration trying to fit a palm tree inside a thimble. Removing the headlight unit from Ranger would also be hell.
We are in the process of restructuring our installation videos to help be a lot more informative. Headlight upgrades will be high in the priority.
