February 07, 2010 Snowstorm - Charleroi, Pennsylvania - Carol of the Bells

  • These are photos that I shot in and around Charleroi, PA, on February 7, 2010 with a point-n-shot camera, this was after i dug my car out following the snowstorm.
    This is how fast our weather can change and that was just the beginning. It snow about everyday in February that year and i think into March, there was a lot of snow.
    I was not in the states at the start of 2011. But they receive some snow but nothing like 2010, but like i said i was not here so I am not certain of it.
    This year so far, as of December 22, we received some snow at the end of October and that was it. Our temperature is in the 50's this week, so no white Christmas here.
    I would not be too surprised if we get hit again by the end of January/February, but only time will tell. Hell the BLIZZARD of '93 was March 12-13 and that was big, but at that we always had snow back then. Total snowfall in 1993 was 76.7 inches. www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us/pw/h...

    I remember that I just had my youngest 2 weeks before that, plus with out power for five days that was hell!!!
