He said at one point this is probably his new favorite puzzle game, so I’m not surprised. I’ve also played through it myself, so I’m quite aware of how it goes
I went back to the first video to confirm this, and yes this is definitely the same worm. The symbols on the dashboard of the worm in the intro match as well.
Yeah, recently I rewatch the old series, like Polybridge 2 Master Mode. I definitely forget some of the golden moments, and rewatching them are very fun!
As much as I enjoyed the Taiji series, Can of Wormholes absolutely nails the perfect balance of watching Tyler be smarter than me while also still being able to understand and appreciate the smart thing he just did. A+ puzzlemaster viewing 🥰
Hey Tyler I would highly recommend finishing your Terra-nil series if you weren't already planning on it. The final bonus worlds are very difficult and interesting, with some very cool mechanics that aren't really explored in the main game
These puzzles are actually beautiful. Most puzzles I see lack any sense of careful design in what you actually do during the solve, rather focussing primarily on the solution, but here the way the intended movements line up so perfectly to the level geometry and sequence into eachother is awesome. It comes across like a dance.
I've noticed that most of the symbols in the opening cinematic correspond to the symbols in each of the different worlds (except for one) Blue - L Tan - R Purple - A Cyan - F Red - ? Pink - W Brown - C Gray - E We'll probably encounter the full alphabet later, or at least the hidden red world symbol.
I literally bought this game with a friend just to try and see how difficult it is to do this, and wow how does he have all those solutions so quickly?? I hope there will be sequels to this game, there are such incredible mechanics! (And of course that aliensrock will play that sequel)
Thje secret world is SO GOOD. Such expertly designed puzzles - they all look easy until you find the catch, then completely impossible until you solve them, then they're easy again. Tyler blew my mind with the ouroborous solution to 8-5 (the completely linear one), which isn't how I solved it at all. I only ate 2 food and pushed everything else off the side (not nearly as easy as I make it sound). Don't know if either is unintended but neither feels like cheese.
Was just about to comment about the same thing... god damn I almost forgot about what I read 😢 but noooo the edytor had to be funny little gremlin (/j)
@@aribarrera6830 “The Enigma of Amigara Fault” by Junji Ito. You can read it if you want to be traumatized too. Actually, you can read pretty much anything Junji Ito wrote if you wanna be traumatized
Oh wow, some of these levels have been heavily patched. Probably for the best, most of the changes seem to be putting up walls so you don't get focused on entirely wrong solution directions. That last level used to be way more open and took me ages because I was doing something crazy in the middle of the ocean.
I love how this world is filled with raw puzzles cooking with difficulty. No surprises, no new gimmicks, just sheer skill. Well, yet. I mean, I would still love it if it has a surprise at the end, though!
that last puzzle just goes to show: having a bigger snake is not always better. even the smallest snakes can do great things when used correctly. large snakes can sometimes just get in the way
did you notice the "level solved" bgm plays a few steps before reaching the goal? it feels very natural, but if you pause right before the goal, the bgm actually stops before playing the last note
The edits to your videos have been really good lately! Often I've been cracking up at whatever meme is referenced in context to the events of the video.
It's neat how quickly you solve the puzles. I'm sure you cut out a buncha dead air, but it feels like you're very observant and make discoveries by experimenting a bunch.
Sad to see this come to the end; it was my favorite puzzle game I’ve played since the good old Baba days. It’s been fun to see you play this! (And subsequently make everything look easier than it felt.) As a side note, I love the alternate solution for the horizontal skinny level. 😂 (Unless my solution was the alternate one…?)
This game never fails to amaze me with the joy you can get out of learning a new mechanic and figuring out new ways to use old mechanics. The devs must be an amazing team.
6:45 that is not the intended solution at all. The gain insight puzzle shows you how to push them into the water to make it around. This game has so many unintended solutions, and Tyler is determined to find them all
there's a little indie puzzle platformer that currently has a steam demo out called pokeypoke. It has similar vibe to celeste and the developer seems to really care about it. It's really fun and it would be cool to see you play it aswell as help the dude who made it get it's name out there a bit
I think the black ship had two cans there, If you remember the beginning of the game, the blue can went on black's rocket to get to blue ship. Now the orange can is there in black.
At 9:34, Tyler overcomplicated the puzzle. It seems to me that he could have offset the 2-long 2 squares down, push 3-long 1 square down. Then move them together till the 4-long get into the hole. Finally, push another 2 into the holes and complete the puzzle.
Im not clowning on GothicLordUk but hoooly, is it satisfying to see you actually complete the puzzles quickly and try different things instead of trying the same thing for 40minutes hoping to get a different result
Day 925 of telling Tyler that he never finished his minecraft series and that he should finish it. Happy 420 day to the Americans out there, I have enjoyed it
"What if the symbols are worms?" Has Tyler not noticed every time he solves a puzzle, the worms are being liquefied and poured into a mold to make the symbols?
In the fifth(?) Level, the one that was all in a line, the dots and worms were Morse code for "+IU" Doesn't make any sense to me, but this game has had so many curveballs that it might mean something yet
I've rarely seen you have this much fun. This game is up there with The Witness and Baba for watching you have a good time.
All of the little surprises make Tyler so happy which is just delightful to watch
He said at one point this is probably his new favorite puzzle game, so I’m not surprised. I’ve also played through it myself, so I’m quite aware of how it goes
Monster's Expedition too
Agreed. A good puzzle game hits different for Tyler
I think I’ll go back and watch baba, that game was nice and it’s been a long time
15:12 guys may notice that the rocket of the secret worm is already launched. It is actually the rocket at the very beginning of the game.
its at 1:11 at the first video btw yall ua-cam.com/video/o5vQzOlVG7E/v-deo.html

I can't believe it was 15 min, it just felt like nothing. It's just fun to watch you play this game, I honestly wouldn't like it to end.
Knowing this game, it really can just keep going.
The developer also said that they had plans to add a level creator :)
@@joenormal1854 :00000000 you made my day so much better, like it was going well now it's just better :D
the tiny edit in the background of the Tyler cam at 10:20 is fantastic. I miss taiji and the witness. gonna go rewatch those series again
yesssssss
Yeah, recently I rewatch the old series, like Polybridge 2 Master Mode. I definitely forget some of the golden moments, and rewatching them are very fun!
I just noticed that lol
I only just caught the blip in my peripheral vision but I knew _exactly_ what it was going to be.
9 07 amazing manga oneshot
This game just gets so many things right, absolutely adore the sound design in particular
I think the best small sound design detail is telling you when you cannot escape. Simple, straightforward, and unintrusive.
As much as I enjoyed the Taiji series, Can of Wormholes absolutely nails the perfect balance of watching Tyler be smarter than me while also still being able to understand and appreciate the smart thing he just did. A+ puzzlemaster viewing 🥰
Tyler seems to have this ability to make extraordinarily hard puzzle games look easy. I tried this game out and got stuck on the first world lol
And teach you a lot about minesweeper that you inherently know, but don't quite understand enough to use correctly
I think editor does a good job mostly, his save file on monster's expedition was 22 hours long.
This whole series can be summarized with the phrase "let him cook"
10:18 his paintings turn into the witness, lol. Great edit I think it's the witness at least it's hard to tell on a phone
One of them's witness, the other's Taiji
Imagine not having a secret world
imagine

You can hear the pain in the voice when he looked at the length of the worn ship. I think that ship's length is 15.
if you look closely, the first digit looks more like a 2...
It's 24
7:11 is such an easier solution than what I did, you can (and maybe intended) be conscious about what food you push on the floor and win

You can see that the obscured number at 15:14 starts with 2, so it’s 20-something puzzles there
Yeah I saw that too! Ur the first comment to mention it
Could be 2000? (its not)
What I love about being in this world was that it was a boss of every type of snake world (The colors being different in each room).
that last puzzle just goes to show: having a bigger snake is not always better. even the smallest snakes can do great things when used correctly. large snakes can sometimes just get in the way
Hey man it's okay, she can't hurt you anymore
but also, when the bigger snake fits just right it leads to a much more satisfying conclusion :)

0:59 probably the reason why the head has a flashlight
For those who are curious, this level is has 24 symbols total.
But why
15:16 0ver 20 levels by the shape of the small pokey out bits.
Me pausing the video to see how long it is 9/2X damn we still got a good 11 puzzle left at a minimum
Wish the Episode was longer, can’t wait to watch you finish this one
It's gonna be a room for every ship...isn't it?😅
I went back to the first video, and if my hypothesis is right, there will be around 12 rooms not counting the head of the worm.

My first thought is VSO word order, if you shift it from VSO or SVO (what English has) then it could be I & U or I + U
ignoring the player worm is ERIU
There gotta be at least 20 levels in that final area based off of the 2 sticking out of under your webcam.
Great video, great game! Though just wanted to throw this out here, seems like the audio is shifted by a second or so based on the fail sound 🤔
