The most obvious hint is definitely the fact that the titan prison for the elemental incarnates is the mini version of the Last Titan logo, however there is SO much more to the prison mechanism. New 10.2 documents confirmed that the Emerald Dream is being controlled by the titans and it is likely just a mechanism, an illusion that is keeping Azeroth asleep in her prison which is exactly why this was the first place the old gods tried to attack.
Furthermore we got hints for how not only did the titans create this prison but they had allies like the Primus that helped them seal it with domination magic. The titans might not have put Azeroth to sleep but they imposed their structures upon it in order to maintain the great cycle because this order, this perfect universe balance suits them. Is this the vast conspiracy that Chris Metzen talked about, one that will challenge everything we know about Azeroth.

Plot twist: Azeroth is the devoured of worlds (or the clockmaker) who’s natural life cycle goes through creating a universe, expanding it, then destroying it and starting over.
The first ones managed to stop Azeroth and to ensure they never awake, created the Emerald Dream to appease them. Void, Death and Fel are attempting to awaken Azeroth for the natural circle of life to occur.
Like how Azathoth is kept in his dream in Lovecraftian literature.
This could potentially mean that Azeroth awakenes after the trilogy and Blizzard will use this as a restart to introduce WoW2
@@samdevries6821 Holy moly. WoW 2 is never happening. Do you follow the game? It's very clear that they're slowly but surely updating the old world to a new standard, especially in the world soul saga. They're giving races new capitol cities because they're planning on adding housing. There has been too much investment into WoW and there's no real reason to risk your biggest cash cow making WoW 2. That being said, even with them making long term investments into the current game, there can still be a reset of sorts in the lore. They could truly take the scale back to how things were in WC3 and reintroduce the faction war for some classic Warcraft flavor and then do another 20 years leading up to the next reset. Basically what I'm saying is WoW 2 will never happen, but radical changes in the game and a reset on lore could definitely be in the works. It seems likely even. I'm pretty sure it's going to remain the same world geographically after the reset too. Like it's clear they're revamping northrend for the last titan. Why would they do all that just to immediately scrap it? and Quel'Thalas as well.

For real, I don't understand why people don't like this lore. There are shitty points, as in every stories, but it is globally so well thought since Legion! The problem is, it takes so long that we grow impatient and can't appreciate few expansions on their present days because we don't have all the keys. But really, I like more and more the complexity of this universe.
I disagree with the video though, I don't think the Pantheon seek to preserve the great cycle. They are the "extremist" part of Order, as it seems there is one for each cosmological force.
As the book says, the Titans don't understand the cycle of life and death, they want everything to be fixed.
I believe they will make Eonar the "sensible" one, as she seems to have a strong link with Elune, and Amen'thul went angry when she put the first world tree's seed.
Oh, because they are fanatics.
Other games like FF14 got fanboy fanatics who will defend the game as if it is their holy lord and sole reason to live.

.... What if the wholle symbolism of the prison used on the Primal Incarnates isnt even about Azeroth? Think about. Iridikron was kept in one of them. And he said that he will be back to fight the Titans. Now you look at the expansions that we were shown. War Within, Xalathat. Midnight, Sunwell and the elves. Last Titan. Is the one where the Titans come to Azeroth... And in Northrend. Big question is why there. But... Who is to say that the Titans dont get imprisoned by Iridikron or even US, the players. Maybe the titans are way to strong for us to Actualy defeat. That the only way is to imprison them in these ringed prisons. Like the Incarnates were. Since we dont know how strong the titans are right now. They lost their forms when Sargeras defeated them in the past. Their essence was sent to Ulduar into the titan keepers there. Maybe that is why we are even going to Northrend. Since the titans will be using those titan keepers as hosts. Forcing their will on the keepers. That dont want to do what they are commanded. But forced. And we go around. Forcing them into the prison, chaining them. In a prison that they CANT escape. The plan of Iridikron. But 1 is not caught... Sargeras. Who become the "Last Titan". Because we dont know why Northrend in that expansion.,.. Re-Origination mechanism maybe? Maybe soemthing else is hidden there. That we dont know. As we dont know what else is in StormPeaks. Or what else is under Icecrown citadel. As they had those mechanism that sent Azerite energy to the Shadowlands in that intro cinematic of the jailor fight. But...w ho knows. Maybe.: Maybe not. Maybe we find out that Azeroth... Is a prison. But not for 1 World Soul.. But for MANY First Ones. Since we dont know what or WHO the first ones are. But we DO know 1 thing.. They have something to do with Azeroth. As the beacon that allowed us to Escape the Maw was not because of Azeroth.. the world soul. But because of the first ones... Deep Inside of it. Somewhere. Kept in statis. It wouldnt make much sense if Azeroth is a world soul.. But more if she was a First one. Kept in sleep, by the Titans and every other cosmological force. Because if she awakens.. Something big that THEY cant controll would happen. NEver forget. The First ones came LONG BEFORE THE TITANS.. Meaning that they could possibly be super strong. No wonder they want to controll Azeroth.. And shape it.. BRAINWASH it into something that is more Titan like. I mean think about. THIS is what Sargeras wanted to do to the titans.. And he managed to do it to Agrammar.. As we fight him incased in a legion shaped body... turned into a fel titan...That was 1... BUt imagin the others. They would have had a titan that could desacrate and expand nature... YOu have one that could be forging the wepons of the legion. .. One that would expand their magic to new levels.. And then we have the final one. That would do who knows what with his powers over time. Maybe even doing the same thing the Infinites could do.. Open portals to alternate dimansions..Creating an Infinite supply of troops from incorrupted worlds. That the legion wouldnt even need to corrupt and destroy. Just lie, and send uncorrupted troops trough a portal. And then corrupt and brainwash them there. Whille the world is still left uncorrupted and populated.
So I've had a theory since the speculation on The Last Titan began. We know that the Legion was using the world soul of Argus to fuel the Legion. Where did he get that idea? I'm thinking that the Pantheon is doing something similar w/ Azeroth and that's where he got the idea. Maybe Sargeras wasn't trying to kill the planet when he stabbed it, maybe he was trying to free it or show us something.
A Trade for Azeroth's (Our) Anima, in exchange for her continued sleep. The Story Eyes of the Earth Mother suggest she couldn't be corrupted while she slept, but the Nightmare wasn't a thing when the Titan's made this deal...
Not unlikely that Argus was some kind of Alpha version of the world soul thing and just stayed there, unfinished and much easier to exploit, while the final version is Azeroth, as it is linked to all the cosmic forces via their "Sepulchors" and by that with much more if not endless potential, but also well better proteted and of course all cosmic forces directly fighting over it and against each other, so nothing that you could easily claim without everyone else going against that.
I´m glad that the lore now makes a turn with Metzen and gets back to its roots. This whole Shadowlands thing was strange af.

Do you even follow it closely? Read the text in game? Observe environmental cues? Read the books (or good summaries of them?). I find most people who think it's this bad don't actually know what's going on. I've heard actual valid criticism that I can agree with despite being a fan. Just saying "soap opera show making stuff up" is weird when some of this lore goes back to warcraft 2 manuals. Yeah there's new characters and stuff, but the overarching lore and mystery has been pretty decent for something that's had 20 years of life. Of course Shadowlands was executed extremely poorly. There's been lots of mistakes along the way, but there would be with anything going for 20 years. Marvel has plenty of stupid crap going on that felt poorly executed at times. Name any kind of universe or lore, they've all had major blunders. Warhammer is known for this.
Honestly I like shadowlands lore and potential I think it was just executed badly but I love each leader of each zone like the winter queen actully being elunes sister and how powerful each leader is they can still do alot with them I definitely wanna see more of ysera down there but I'm excited for war within and finally we get beta with top game purchase of war within I can't wait

Final three of this saga. They said there would be more Sagas. Basically this is round 3 coming to an end. The first saga was the Legendary Saga, TBC, WoTLk and Cata, the. We had the legion saga with MoP, WoD, and Legion. Round 3 has been like a reawakening of the major powers with BFA, SL and DF. Now with the world soul saga we have WWI, MN and LT. humans dwarfs and gnomes are byproducts of the titan forge races, draenei are aliens, goblins are mutations of pygmys which come form the titan forged races, orcs are aliens from draenor, wargens are humand an elves that got cursed by druid transformation, so that left us whit the only original races to defend azeroth, tauren, trolls, elves, and vulpera

Personally I believe that the emerald dream is the elemental plain of spirit it would explain alot. The reason we don't see elementals is because we know azeroth absorbed all the elements and then the titans used it for themselves

Why is elune suddenly a titan again? ^^ . I think she is a powerful goddess from the life or light side of the cosmos. I mean only because of her we had the first world tree and maybe the first connection from titan and dream. I'm still thinking that eonar isn't full order mode like the other titans

That's just what Sargeras is and it's more about the methods than anything else.
Zovaal didn't want to go against Death, but make it the winner by consuming all the other powers, as Denathrious pretty much openly stated even before the first raid in Shadowlands. Death will be the remaining power.

Every time I think about Sylv-anus saying "this world is a PRISON" I keep thinking about all the dumb stuff we would've avoided if she'd even bothered to tell us what she meant by that. Heck, BFA wouldn't have even happened if she'd explained herself. Everyone would've been like "holy shit, Azeroth is trapped in prison in the planet's core? Let's go break her out of it!" Hell, even after she went back to our "side" Sylvanas still wouldn't explain it and nobody even asked her. But I suppose if we had asked her, she'd have to be like "uh, you know what? Forget I said that. You're not supposed to know what that means for another two expansions, byeeeee" and then jump into the Maw.
