Seeing full auditoriums dropping into collective meditation is really something - you feel the palpable shift. Makes me wonder what the world would look like if this was a normal daily practice in our schools and workplaces. It’s possible.
Asians practice Tai chi everyday in the public parks, why not meditation as well.

Prolonged, elevated cortisol [The Primary Stress Hormone] levels in animals are also shown to cause atrophy [Weakening] in the hippocampus [The Brain's Memory Center]and hypertrophy [Growth] in the amygdala [The Brain's Fear Center], largely through changes in dendritic remodeling [Parts Of Brain Cells That Catch Messages From Other Brain Cells]. These structural changes may contribute to deficits in appropriate feedback onto the HPA axis. [The Part Of Your Brain That Keeps You Calm]

Know:
Your breath is the Earth's atmosphere.
It is an invisible bodypart that is also part of my body.
It is also whale breath and microbe breath.
It is the breath of the plants and fungi.
It is an invisible part of our bodies that we all share.
My mind is not your mind.
The structure of my body is not the structure of your body.
Our breath, however, is the Earth's atmosphere, an invisible bodypart, bigger than the surface of the planet.
There is no private air.
Deep breathing causes the vagus nerve[Immune System And Heart Rate Control] to signal your nervous system to lower your heart rate, blood pressure and cortisol [The Primary Stress Hormone]. Taking just ten deep breaths can assist with relaxation and provide a sense of calm.
The long-term activation of the stress response system and the overexposure to cortisol [The Primary Stress Hormone] and other stress hormones that follow *can disrupt almost all your body's processes.* This puts you at increased risk of many health problems, including:
Anxiety, Depression, Digestive problems, Headaches, Muscle tension and pain, Heart disease, heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke, Sleep problems, Weight gain, Memory and concentration impairment
Take ten deep, slow breaths.
Thank you Russell from the US. I hope you bring your tour here, we sure could use the positivity. This was very helpful for destressing. I have PTSD & anxiety and your voice is very calming. Really lovely video. Thank you!!
Yessss! Russell, come to the U.S.! We will come see you!

I have tried to meditate before and I always fell as!eep. This time i started to cry as I felt I've done my job here and then I felt I left myself leave my body but I kept seeing my dad, who died in 1984 when I was 24. We were both born on the same date July 19th he in 1919 myself in 1960. I felt warm and then very happy.
I have lived through a lot of unpleasant things yet I never reacted to some that were very violent. I think I need to get to a place of understanding who I am. I feel so different from others it's bothering.
This was a beautiful meditation, thank you for leading it!
*Thanks for watching send a direct message right away I will love to hear your thoughts on it and for more enlightenment☝️❤️***
So peaceful. So releasing.
You have a gift Russell. Thankyou.
I just started following your meditations very interesting as a nurse that works 12 to 16 hours sometimes I just go in the bathroom and just sit and meditate and listen to you on UA-cam👍🏼, I really wish you would make a sleep video..

I think an interview Russel, with John butler of spiritual unfoldment could be a good one. I can imagine between the two very funny moments and also some beautifuly connecting ones. Hail hail!
Hello Russell thankyou thankyou for sharing this beautiful medaiton. Russell thankyou for sharing these medaitons from your shows. Iam 26 from Australia in Western Australia I love you very deeply Russell brand. I look up to you. Yout the father figure I never had in my own. I see you Russell brand as morden day jesus. Russell I have my personal.tune in for myself before I do your medaitons every night I sit down with my eyes closed and I have two objects that means alot to me in front of me while I do the medaiton and doe me these two objects are very grounding. ONE IS a photo of of grandpa he passed away in 2018 on April fools day so its was the four years anniversary if my grandpa's passing on Friday this week.and it was hard cause it doesn't feel like four years to me and the second objects is a teddy bears that my father gave me when i was born and now that since then he was a absent and abusive of me that bear is a symbol really in the beginning me and my father got along and that is also a symbol I believe for my inner child she still needs to love him. Because what I have learnt from my parents hate for each other is that HATE is toxic poison to the human heart and soul. I just finshed this medaiton I do one of your medaitons every night I can't sleep without it I only started doing medaiton in 2020. Russell at the start of this medaiton it was moving to me and very comforting to me that you said Loving life and the world and being grateful to be alive and you said to anyone that doesn't like it here on earth alive that you hav been there and that was very moving and you spoke to me. Thie medaiton was Beautiful. I would have to be in the I don't like here group to be honest right now. There is sooo much human being suffering right now. And more personally for me Right now my parents have hated each other since I was 2. So most of my life I have felt like there was a never ending tug of war game in my heart that no me really wins.and Russell now my father has terminal brain cancer and the whole situation with him is very complicated and I have been struggling recently with alot of emotional pain in me that is hard cause no one can see it like strong sadness and fear and grief and hurt. Because my father was a absent father. And I went through two years of domestic violence from my dad and his wife and there was two years of trauma and hell and my father has never admitted to what he did. So I have alot of unhappines because me and my father have never had the chance to heal so iam trying to forgive him and let the trauma go. So thankyou sooo very much for this healing medaiton when you said Think of something that you wanan get rid of I thought of me being in the courtroom With my father at age 21 and how heartbreaking that was and that is still a major trauma that I have held onto and that still mentally haunts me so I tried my best to let that go in this medaiton. And Russell it was funny for me to when you said something about keeping your spine straight. And this is funny to me cause when I was about 23 I was diagnosed with a condition called scoliosis where my spine was not straight at all. Through some X-rays we found at age 23 that my spine was a S shape it was cured 70 degrees and it changed the whole way I feel and look at my body so In 2019 I had spinal surgery to fix this problem so since them and now and I will always have metal Rods keeping my spine straight. Scoliosis as much as I know is normally diagnosed in girls aged 11 but I got my diagnosis of that At 23. So Russell I I struggle with alot of physical back pain. This medaiton was so Beautiful. But i was distracted from the medaiton and the awareness became my back pain is terrible. So my back is always a place I hold or feel tension and so thankyou Russell for sharing this medaiton and as well your helping me heal emotionally and mentally. And your also helping me heal physically with your medaitons. God bless you Russell brand 🙏 🙏🧘♀️🧘💙💙🎙

That was lovely x
Thanks Russel. Beautiful meditation, but pls remove the ads from videos like this- they were very distracting.
Thank you Mr Brand, 💚🇬🇧🌱 although the ads mid meditation were horrifying!
Wish I could afford ad free UA-cam, but can't even afford tickets to Russell's show so free will have to do! 💚🇬🇧🌱
Yes, at least 3 ads! Otherwise a nice meditation to remember.

Thank you! I needed that.
Definately relaxing.
The first time I really meditated was while reading...the power of now.
Was a real connection with 'the universe', 'the creator', 'the one', 'the light', 'spirit'. It was the most beautiful experience. I didn't want it to end...ever!
It was just golden yellow enveloping light and love and peace and silence.
I've felt this before, although very fleeting, during a near drowning incident as a child. I've been close to it a few times since as.well. But for that transcendental state...I need silence and a great length of time...at least thus far.
If this is what monks can do...I know why they are monkin.
It is bliss!🌈🙏💗

Mr. Brand, i am a recovering addict. Drugs and alcohol. I am 26 years old and been struggling to get clean since i was 16 years old. I was always self medicating. I find your approach so much more appealing. I have been to more treatment centers and programs than i would like to say, and the only time it really stuck with me was when i got into the meditation and trying to reach my spiritual peace. And i just cant. But i see you so happy now and so at peace. I see myself falling back into getting hooked on medications i really dont NEED to be taking but when i dont i get so depressed i cant even get out of bed. I would really love to atleast just hear from you about where i should start. Just like in AA, i want what you have. Please Mr. Russell, atleast help me with a starting point. I am so lost in this thing we call “life”.
Thank you ,
Carl Webb III

Edit: i had no idea thats what i did untill she explained it all.. and i had some weird sense it wasnt an inward thing as it should have.. definetly felt out from the body

Dam commercials I jumped out of my skin.
Russel some of these videos feel like just ads for other things you're doing. Your old videos discussing mental health and relationships actually saved me from deep places of confusion, depression and self animosity. Some of these awakening with Russel videos just feel a bit like B-roll.

Meditation interrupted with a cryptocurrency ad at 7:04... Quite jarring! 😳😅
And again at 11:17! This would be much better without the ads 💙
Trying getting quiet as long somebody is talking to you is contradictory. You know it better, Russell. Haven’t you learned a professional technique once?😉

Ads. Come on.......
Those adds are nightmare🥴
What does 33 mean to you???
As someone who meditates regularly but still struggles to find the famous no-thought zone, i was interested in trying this out. I tried but i could never get my mind to stay quiet because russell just talks too much. And whats with all the big words that 90 percent of people dont understand? Whats the point of using words if most of your audience will just be confused by them? You should talk less and keep it more simple. How can people meditate when they are constantly hearing someone talk and talk and talk... its just too distracting i think.
That was Amazing, feelin sorta one with the room, Love these on-the-road guided meditations with ya!🦥🦋💜

@@Helen-us1ly Was that when he said "Lock the doors" and everybody got scared or while he was muttering incoherently inducing ASMR instead of letting you meditate?
@@ZeroOskul when the ads cut in
36, haven't meditated since I was a teenager. Was a bit difficult to relax at first until I was picturing my loved ones looking at me lovingly, accepting.. Tears were released and with them my tension. I feel so good now. Thank you!
Holey cow! 💕Love this version of Russell, with the soothing voice. Gonna hang out here instead of his "news channel" (I'm already aware all the powers that be are out to manipulate us, done with that for a bit!)
Russel would you be able to make a meditation about fear whilst meditating?
Love this 🙏
Thank you.
Thank you.
