SUV RVing 噢。我见过他建房子。之前关注他了。👍👍👍
Wonderful video Tristan! I immediately found myself wanting to be there again.... what an amazing camp spot too!!! I had a great time with you and all you have to do is name the place and I'll be up for another adventure! (well, assuming they are approved by the CFO-Wife;) btw.... my wife died over the cannibalism joke and the shower at the end..... she's a fan too!
My videos of this trip and the cabinet build should be up in the next 2-3 weeks!
Joe
Amazing scenery! I love the drone footage. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I agree with Joe, this channel is one of my favorites as well. Thank you..❤️
Fantastic rock formation behind you at the end!
Amazing place, isn't it? Thanks for watching.
I love the peace of your hikes.
the overnighter is always much more interesting to watch than a day hike!
Thanks for watching!
Glad you were able to experience a little bit of the AZT. Arizona has so many beautiful landscapes.
I was born in Arizona but and I've not been to Arizona for many years....I loved seeing this video. It reminded me of the folk legend of superstition mountain..I loved this video..thank you
Great video and hike. Joe can built anything. He did a awesome job with the camper.
Great video! I subscribed to Joe and heck yeah bring him along... Love having him.
Thank you. You make me wish that I was younger and in better health. But I will live through your videos.
Thank you for sharing...hilarious in the morning. Great video thank you. It's not about how many followers. It's about the content. Loved it!
Thanks Brigitte!
I started watching Joe when he started building the trailer and have found him very laid back and easy to listen to and learn from. I started following Tristan because he was doing some cool exploring in New Mexico and have enjoyed his easy going nature as well. Then thought it was pretty fun that you guys connected last fall I think. Really look forward to videos from both channels.
I watch his chanel. It's a good one. That's pretty cool you are friends. He did a great job building his home made camper and the porch to the shop is gorgeous. It is something watching the things he does. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for sharing another enjoyable adventure...beautiful and interesting scenery. Nothing better than cold pizza!
like the drone vid, the long vistas, thanks for sharing...
Ahhh, pre Covid-19 days. Gorgeous video. Thanks for keeping me entertained during quarantine. Stay safe😷
Is it? I assumed it was current.
That mountain looks like a castle! Arizona is great!❤️😀🇺🇸🚙
As always loved your video. Joe seems like a cool guy...we watched him build the travel trailer. That guys got some skills! Loved the “castle” looking mountain where you camped. The lack of sleep morning shots were priceless. Love the music...as always!
So very true what Joe said about Tristan, he is such a nice guy and so down to earth and real! So great to see someone hike and camp in the Superstition Mountains and come out safe on the other side. I have lived in Arizona all my life and have heard alot of legends and spooky stories, so not sure I would ever do it. Thanks for showing that maybe just maybe someone was pulling my leg when I was growing up. lol
Thanks, a nice way to start my day!
Made me miss the dessert, I used to live in Peoria, 83 and Olive. Enjoyed the video.
Misty, I live close by. 83rd and Peoria. Was on a 6.6 mile hike in Cave Creek (Maricopa Trail) today. Started at 5:30am. So beautiful right now!!! Cheers!
Loved the hike! Thanks!
Superb video, Tristan!! I want to be you when I grow up!! Thanks for taking us along, once again!! Stay healthy!!
That craggy mountain behind you in that last camping spot ...so cool!!
🥺 Note to self- Stretch that tent till the seams want to break!
I really liked the part in the narrow canyon with the small creek alongside the trail. Also that campsite was unbelievable. Glad you flew the drone because that really made it easy to see what an amazing place it was. You are a very lucky guy.
Great scenery, Tristan! And yes that spot is absolutely gorgeous! A castle guarding you. Stay safe and well.
Great Hiking Video! The Mountain at the End looks like a Castle. Very Cool! Enjoyed the Scenery, I'm ready for my next adventure in my 2012 Rav4. Be Safe out there.
I've been hiking since watching your videos. .Very inspired by your adventures.
I love your video. You are giving me tons of hiking ideas for my upcoming trip. Thank you for sharing. By the way I love the background music you use.
Nice video! Loved the waving saguaro cactus overlooking your campsite😊
Great views, Joe has some amazing DIY projects and has something for everyone. Thank you for sharing, I have to check that trail out and everyone stay safe and be well.
Hey! So I'm a new sub, and what a blessing to have found you on you tube! I actually live in AZ, on the west side. Been here 40 years, and wanted to thank you for showing me some of the reasons why AZ still holds a place in my heart. It's a bit hard to live here, everyday "city" life is much different. But my son is in Boy Scouts, and we are just starting to get out and enjoy the more serene peaceful, more beautiful parts of what an has to offer. We are new to camping, and haven't yet done any hiking, as we are a bit too scared to venture far from our vehicle when camping. Your channel is informative and amazing to watch, you take the scary out of the whole process of hiking, how to prepare, and hey, if you can do so much alone, we can get our brave on and start to do more as well. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us, a reason why you tube is such a useful tool, a way to connect, educate, entertain, it's not always about "subscribers", just sharing your life, your adventures are such a useful, helpful tool for so many, so thank you. Tucson is great, will check out Joes channel. I look forward to many more adventures with you, and taking in all the tips and tricks you have to offer, and most importantly, I'll remember to take in that life is short, get out and enjoy all that the country has to offer, owners of a new jeep, (we also love the toyotas), it's time to put it to better use. As I head into the weekend, I have a bunch of your previous videos to go explore, so, that's it. I will suggest your channel to the troop, as I'm sure many boys, and leaders will benefit from watching you! Glad to be a part of your journeys, thanks for allowing us the opportunity to do so, keep on, keeping on..grateful! Stay safe out there...will make sure we let you know anything we'd like to learn or see, for now, have some videos of yours, and joes to watch and like!😊❤️
I've been binge watching your videos the last couple of days; you do a fantastic job on them. Being a SUV camper for a couple of years now, I appreciate the tips and your minimalist style. I will try to downsize a bit, but you know what they say, we tend to fill the space we have and since I now own a 4Runner, well you can see my dilemma. Thanks also for the location information which is helpful in finding the more obscure sites for photography. Continued success.
Love the Saguaro cacti. I don't get to see them often since I'm in the Mojave desert, and most of my hiking is in Utah. I really should get down to Arizona.
The crack about cannibalism was unexpected and FUNNY!
liked the landscape so much I watched it twice, so appealing! 😎 the music was perfect! I think it was the Superstition Mtns where I did a horseback trip many years ago. Just love that area.
Hiked in that area in the 70's when we had the "gas shortage" and could not travel on Sunday. So we went hiking. Found obsidian stones and quartz just laying on the ground. It was in the spring after a rain so there was new grass and things were in bloom. That was really beautiful.
What a beautiful place!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
It is reported that the Lost Dutchman mine was recently located by two UA-cam superstars, Joe and Tristan... Great video and I sure will check out Joe's channel!
Happy the pizza sustained you and you didn't have to resort to cannabalism lol! Good video!
I trekked the Superstitions back in the early 1970s and they are as beautiful as they are filled with mystery and history. BTW ~ Once I hit the sack I'm out for the night and I realize that trait is a huge blessing. Great footage...
Yep, I'm jealous lol. Thanks Charlie
I loved the baseball player(saguaro cactus) at the campsite.
Great scenery. Loved it. I like to tinker also, so will definitely check out Joe’s channel. Thanks, Tristan.
Thanks Cyn!
On the mountain behind you those pink rocks look like a castle. Oh that field of Saguaro. Never observed so many in one place. Now go to the nearest place to eat.
Beautiful country thanks for sharing your adventures!
Thanks for watching, John
That was an awesome video bro. 👏🏾
Great video. 4:11 RIP saguaro. It looks like it has a good 200 year life.
Yes, Tristan does great videos! And if he is as nice off camera as on I’m not surprised!
Aw, thanks Kathleen 😁
Great vid as usual stunning campsite all it needed was a BBQ and nice bottle of red
At 17:04 that Mountain behind you it looks like it may have been a Castle a long time ago just the shapes and everything that's really cool
I camped at Superstition mountains and it is beautiful. Like the horse trails too there. Great video! Did you hear the steers mooing there?
Wow, thank you.
Dudes on horses had the right idea...pretty rugged country. Did you find Apache Kid's Cave while out there?
Did you buy the tent? Your comment on 2 car shuttle is right on; have done same thing on parts of A-trail & Pocono hikes. The drive along Apache Trail is exhilarating especially Fish Creek hill and by Canyon et al lakes. Tonto NM at end was also pretty cool. On a more personal note, one of my best hiking friends, Nancy, was just tested for the virus; yesterday she got results: negative, thank God! Now I'm trying to get her to go with me to Vegas later in yr to visit friends & hopefully to Death Valley and/or Zion & Bryce area! Fingers crossed. Greetings to Cassie & your doggy companion...stay well my friend.
Great video guys.
In March 2018, as I was doing the AT in the Smokie Mountains, we had a windy night and the tarp stretched across the front of the shelter to keep the wind and snow out kept cracking like a whip or ships sail. Kind of like a lightning strike non-stop all night. Not good.
Sleeping in the wind is tough but a great hike otherwise. Glad you didn’t run out of pizza!
Lol thanks!
since it wasn't raining, couldn't he have taken the tent down and just used it like an outer sleeping bag, windbreaker bag so it wouldn't catch the wind so much?
Trail pizza is my top Tristan tip ever!
If that's the only difference I've made in the world, my life will have been a success!
Do you have any problems leaving your vehicle at trail heads? Where we live, break ins are very common at trail heads. Love your videos. Can't wait till we can get back on the road! Nancy
great video! you look like dave grohl of nirvana
Is your vehicle a four wheel drive?
Thanks for another great video, great to see Homesteadonomics joining in. Question re: your small SUV. Do you ever find that a vehicle of that size limits what you can do? From the videos on your channel it seems to be not limiting at all, you show how you can get way off the beaten path for all sorts of adventures. But you mentioned your RAV4 being a little challenged this time. So I'm wondering your thoughts on a medium SUV (eg. Highlander) or even going up to a big brute like a Suburban, Yukon, Tahoe, Sequoia. Obviously the gas mileage would take a huge hit with that last category. But would you gain enough utility to make that trade worth it?
No offense Joe , but im into adventure camping hiking not building projects so ....Im enjoying Tristans channel....its a real bummer when u dont get a good nights sleep. I bet u slept well that night in the car. I missed the next morning report! Love the drone shots.
Happy trails ! I bet Cassie hates missing those trips.
Wacky inflatable flailing arm tube man!
Where is the mountain location at , during the end of ur video. I wanna hike up there.
That mountain is called Picketpost Mountain. Thanks for watching
SUV RVing Thank you for sharing your adventures. One day i wanna join ya in one.
@@HH_A.M. Oops, my bad. Picketpost Mountain is the one at the end of the hike we did, but check the video description for coordinates of the campsite at the end. The cool mountain at the very end of the video is right next to it.
SUV RVing ok
I'm curious about purchasing some MRE's to put in my hurricane evacuation supplies. Do you or do any of the viewers have personal experience with a particular brand of MRE? I don't want to buy a bag of cellulose that tastes like goulash.
Wow those views!!!!!! Thanks:-)
Is that called castle rock? Sure looks like one. Seen Joe's channel a couple of times prefer yours if that's ok. I don't like if they have too many subscribers, you don't get the one on one replies, usually.
遇见好伙伴了。爽✅🍾️👻🎉🎒
👍👍👊
Where?
GPS coordinates are in the description
SUV RVing - means nothing -where near Country, city ,state, directions
At the start of the video there's literally a map showing that it's in the Superstition Mountains in Arizona.
PS..cannibalism! Don't tell Joe but it appears he has just a bit more body fat than you...looked like a saguaro was waving goodbye.
I have a LOT more body fat than Tristan....lol! He would be eating a ribeye steak in me ;)
@@homesteadonomics
🤣
Thanks Joe; that's funny as HE..double L! Going to check out your vlogs. If Tristan recommends them, who am I to argue. Stay safe.
