    I tried this recipe today with some lobster tails and shrimp. It came out amazing!!! Better than my local Chinese takeout. Thank you so much for sharing and posting.👍

    What are the differences, regarding texture & flavor, concerning cornstarch and tapioca starch? Thank you!

    • @kristinenguyen6086
      @kristinenguyen6086 2 роки тому

      Flavor wise they’re both the same, but regarding texture, tapioca starch is more chewy mainly to lock in the moisture for mostly seafood when deep fried.,and corn starch is more crunchy ideal for deep fried food that want to stayed crunchy longer

      dam pham dễ làm lắm , nhưng nhớ xào lửa phải hơi lớn , vì như vậy nó mới thơm, còn xào lửa nhỏ thì sẽ ăn không giống nhà hàng

      Thank you Sean for your comments ! I am looking for a ginger and green onion lobster recipe and I will certainly try this recipe because I was looking for feedback from people who actually made this dish.
      You are giving me confidence to cook it because lobster here is not cheap to buy in raw state and restaurants charge $$$$$ when cooked. Adding it to the birthday menu for my hubby.

    What kind of wine did you add in?

    • @utskitchen1887
      @utskitchen1887  4 роки тому +2

      It’s just Chinese white cooking wine or you can use shao xing wine. Gonna have wine, make this dish so much flavor

    I don’t have wine , can I user beer instead?

    • @utskitchen1887
      @utskitchen1887  4 роки тому +2

      phong luu , if you don’t have wine just skip it but don’t put beer in it, it will ruin the taste, you can steam the lobster with beer though

    • @utskitchen1887
      @utskitchen1887  4 роки тому +1

      Cao My Le I do the Cantonese style which gets the flavor from the ginger, scallions and wine
      Not the Vietnamese style which you will use fish sauce and chicken powder etc...
