Shannon Noll's version is still my favourite, yes I know Moving Pictures did it in 1982 and Shannon Noll's was 2004 and Shayne Ward released it in 2006 but Shannon's will always be my favourite

This song has been done by Moving Pictures, Shannon Noll and Shayne Ward. The thing is the lyrics just take over. Quite honestly any old street busker could sing it and I would still get these tears in my eyes.
I think Alex the original sang it best, but I absolutely agree with you. It is the song that is great the vocals are just a bonus.
