As time progresses, transgender life gets harder and harder. It’s like being sucked into a black hole. It’s easier to choose a way out at an earlier phase then latter, but it’s not impossible. It’s just the stakes are higher as death is very close by, inshaa Allah. Alhamdulillahirobil alamin ala kulli hal for our sister. I just want to let anyone out there who is struggling with homosexuality, that there is hope for you. Many will say that you don't belong in the masjid, that Allah SWT does not love you and your struggle with this takes you out of the fold of Islam, but that is not true. if it was not for those who knew of the indoctrination and inclinations I had encouraging me to cave in to the LGBTQ lifestyle and telling me I still had hope, i would still be living a life of sin. But reading the Quran led me to understanding myself more and things that happened to me as a child and i realized i wasn't a homosexual, but just a very lost, very sad young woman dealing with trauma and so confused about my identity. It was hard to say "adults that I was supposed to be able to trust lied to me, confused me, even at some points, sexualized me...a child...who didn't know better". Those words were hard to say and to also realize that I was the victim, a pawn used by adults to weaponize their own way of thinking. It hurt, but Islam has helped me deal with my grief, i cry often for that little girl and the innocence that was stripped from me. Now life is different, i feel Allah's love and he guides me daily through the Quran. I realize now, that even before I reverted, Allah SWT already loved me, and he was waiting for me to come home. He loves you too, no matter what people tell you, you're his creation, someone who matters and has value in this world. It is possible to escape the vice grip of sin, if I can do it in a city that's famous for the large LGBTQ community, even teaches it in schools, where it's advertised as the norm even to PRESCHOOL age children, then so can you. Anything is possible with the love of Allah! He is the best of planners! Have faith and submit yourself to our creator and see what he does for you!
