You didn't explain the difference.. omg you just said battery difference.
You never mentioned that the ultra has WiFi and downloadable maps and route importation and back tracking feature etc etc.. there are huge differences you failed to mention thumbs down for your poor research into the Ultra..
So about 10% better than my T-Rex 2, but at over twice the price? It doesn't even have their latest bio-tracker. Although I have quickly upgraded to each generation when they came out T-Rex>T-Rex Pro>T-Rex 2, I have zero interest in this one.
It is true the T-Rex Ultra doesn't offer anything for 200 bucks extra, so T-Rex 2 is still good to go.
The band is also not replaceable.

@@Techsquare_ really bad comment. It have certification and data for diving, that is alone more than 300 dollar value. And not the only feature.
Very bad review. Looks like this guy doesn't even have the watch to review it. This review misses a LOT of things:
The Ultra can pair with external heart rate monitors; it supports offline maps with real map display on the watch unlike TRex; it supports Zepp's health coach, and many more.
Not saying that makes it worth double the price, but you really need to look for a more detailed review than this one.

I think having all the extra memory to download apps and music, plus the map capability, and the durability makes it worthwhile.
I'd rather buy 2 T-Rex 2's instead of 1 T-Rex Ultra.

I've had my T-Rex 2 almost a year now and I'm glad I'm sticking with it, where I live it's I've had no overheating issues and I've had no issues whether I'm outside on a run during poor weather or swimming in the ocean. There's going to be a drastic change to get make to want to upgrade.
Do any of these have a true always on screen option, so like if it were attached to my handlebars when I was cycling it would always show speed and distance, without having to touch it to turn it back on? Seems like every video shows that they never stay on.
I have an original Trex 1. Yes they have an AOD setting if you chose so.
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure the reason is because it'll rip through the battery pretty quickly.
If you're just gonna use it as a speedometer, there are MUCH better alternatives around....
There is an always on display option... it will cut your battery life from ~14-20 days to ~6-9 days (depending on other settings).
can these two smartwatches able to display location thru lat/long or MGRS ?
Don't forget the regular mineral glass they come with and the 2 dollar watch band you CANNOT replace on the ultra!

I keep seeing these reviews where they say, "This watch is water resistant to n ATM...."
Why do they always spell "ATM?!"
Don't any of you folks know that "ATM" stands for "atmospheres?!"
For instance 3 atmospheres means the depth where the water pressure is equal to 3 atmospheres, or 3x atmospheric pressure. That's not very deep for SCUBA diving, like about 90 feet.
Just thought you should know, cuz 8 never hear anyone say anything about it.

I was hoping someone would mention this. I have never understood why some companies would advertise their water resistance like this... Like, who tf cares or knows about atmospheric pressures... Is it the new "cool way" to say depth in meters/feet. the fuck...
10ATM = 100 Meters = 330 ft
They say it because although water resistant to 3 ATM tech ically means 30 metres, in reality that's not how it is measured and you would be crazy to bring it down to 30m. So they can not say water resistant to 30m. 3 ATM is tested by spraying water at 3 ATM, not by submerging it to 30m. The two are very different. I would not swim or dive with any watch that has anything less than 20atm rating.

It offers loads extra. Didnt mention it. And battery is better alot better...
Battery is identical. 500mAh for each. Battery life is actually worse on some of the metrics on amazfit own specs, Ultra is 20 days typical use, T-Rex 2 its 24 days typical use. That is straight from their own website.
What other options does it offer. Not seeing much on their own site

Ultra has zepp os 2.0.. trex2 will never get it.. that's why I sent my T-rex 2 back and upgraded to the Trex Ultra upgraded.. you get zepp coach.
