- Cardboard
- Bearing
- Hair rubber bands
- Plastic book cover
- Ice-cream stick
- BBQ bamboo sticks & Chopsticks
- Hot glue gun

I would add some weight, so you don't have to hold the machine in place when launching a ball or just playing with the ball in general.
