In Planet Coaster 1 it is water, it is not the best in graphics, but it looks like water, and in Planco 2 it looks more like gel or something thick that is supposed to be water.

Done so in issue tracker. Another graphics-related area I believe needs addressed are ride textures, which appear to be lower resolution, and the rock terrain textures, which are very blurry.
Planco 1 got it so right and Planco 2 got so many things wrong. No bobbing, and the water is rushing slower than the boat, which makes it look so unnatural. In Planco 1 it actually looks like the boat is being pushed by the current of the water, not to mention the color and textures of the water are also far superior.

The crazy thing is a game on Roblox (theme park tycoon 2) has better water than this for free. And if you buy a game pass for less than 10 dollars, you can access the games amazing building system. Try to find vids on yt, it could be argued as better than planco, and definitely planco 2

If they had tested it they would have instantly noticed the clipping camera 🤦🏽♂️ man i just hope they fix the game quickly and start pushing out content also. @ it didnt start the same. Theres a big difference because planco 1 went trough an extensive phase of alpha an beta. I was there since the first release of the alpha. The alpha maybe was in the same state but then you are comparing a full release witht and alpha version.
So they didnt care to implement physics for slides and even went as far as to remove them from the log flumes… just another aspect of the new game where i think they took 2 steps back instead of forward

The water, the moment when the boats collide with the water but unfortunately also the new roller coaster where you can add a splash element is terribly realized! As soon as the rollercoaster has left the splash section.... See for yourself ! does not look nice !
I am buying an even better computer as an XMAS gift to myself in order to play PC-1 all over again. PC-2 is not ready for prime time, and it shows in so many ways. The path building, ease of structure creation, and various graphics - all things that I'm not sure even DLC's can fix...

Lot of people are saying it’s a downgrade, but it’s probably because the sequel has a more "cartoony design" if you look at 0:15 it’s clearly planco2 has better textures but people prefer the more standard look of the original
It’s a downgrade because they made Planco 2 FOR console and weaker hardware. They dumbed it down in an attempt to cater to more players, which could be a good thing, but it has upset a lot of their original fanbase Very The Sims 4 of them. And that game sucks in comparison to its predecessors

But as a console player I can tell you Planet Coaster 1 was so well ported it was surprising, the menus were intuitive, the UI was comfortable, and all of the pc version animations were there, including this one of the logs and water rides. Now for some reason the second game is missing so much from the first, not only on PC but also on console, I'm really surprised this same team ported the game to console on the first place. Because they really didn't understand anything about what console players wanted of planet coaster 2, nor the pc players
I have now watched multiple planet coaster graphic comparisons. I can conclude, I absolutely hate the new planet coaster 2 graphics. I'm sorry. But I am just not able to like the new graphics more than the old graphics.

Show them this video, or log is at a complaint/bug etc, and I guarantee you the devs will fix it. They are VERY actively listening to the community.
