My nine year old and i have been looking for a apt in merida for 2 months we are looking at campeche now however we know no one there, just looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom possible furnished near a school, budget is 350-450 month, thank you,
everyone is welcome, we would be happy if they joined the community and learn our traditions and respect them, learning Spanish will connect us more, by living here they stop saying tourists and become migrants, we welcome them with affection and we want to be one in community.
Great video🫶🏼 I think now Campeche has got a big hospital called Hospital Naval De Campeche that have emergency area, physical medicine, general medicine offices and specialties (Odentology, Dialysis, Hemodialysis, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Nutrition, Psychology, Trauma and Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Gynecology and Colposcopy), three General Surgery and one of Tocosurgy, 30 censusable beds and laboratories. Game Changer, eh?!?!?!🙌🏼💖
You are a very consecuential you tuber…. you surprise me not only with your knowledge base, but, with how busy you are… I am very super happy having to find your channel. Gracias! WE SEE YOU!
Thank you so much for this video. Our budget is small so some of the other videos that were posted we for people in a different socioeconomic level. A $400 to 600 USD is more in our price range. It was great to see a beautiful colonial city that had neighborhoods we could afford.
That’s great Melissa. There are affordable and expensive places everywhere. You just have to know where to look. This time, I focused on the Spanish speaking groups and websites to find lower cost rentals
I have very fond memories of Campeche! I have always wanted to retire to either Campeche or Merida. I loved your video, and I think you have convinced me that Campeche is the better option. I am well into pre-columbian history and Mexican archaeology, so Campeche really sounds ideal. Now I will study your relocation guide carefully and with optimism. Muchas Gracias.
Gracias Mariana! Estaré en Campeche por 4 días en menos de un mes! PD. Por casualidad una amiga mia desde Nueva York se llama Mariana - y está en este momento en México - en San Cristóbal :)
Very interesting and informative just like all your videos. I have two questions: As a tourist (Canadian passport but resides in Panama) can I rent a departamento in Mexico for 180 days ? And after 180 days , how long must I remain abroad in order to come back and spend another 180 days again in Mexico and renting another departamento?
You can rent apartments on Airbnb month to month. Since a lot of places require 6+ month agreements. There is no time amount you must remain out of Mexico as a tourist, but it’s very common that they can deny your entry if they see you coming in too often for 180 days
This city has always been keeping on eye since is not overly touristy ( means less expensive rents and drug dealers) but is too hot and AC bill Will be too high something that I can save in central México.
When you say electric bill can be less than in U.S, how much? My bill in texas is any where from $70-$185 in the hotter months. What does an average electric bill look like?
I love my own city :3 i highly recommend my city to whom want to enjoy a hot weather in winter times, but keep in mind that is very hot throughout the year and average around 30 Celsius degrees :) welcome to my quiet city (compared with the rest of Mexico)
Hi this city looks very promising except for the heat and humidity. Is there a coastal town that has a more temperate climate? Great video tho Thankyou!
I live in Yuma AZ. Where is a city within driving distance to retire in Mexico? Affordable and safe. I am single with a dog and cat. I do enjoy mountains with cooler weather and don't like loud touristy towns.
@@MexicoRelocationGuideHi friend, I think is not Playa del Carmen, becase that Beach iss located to six or seven hours by car from Campeche. Maybe is Ciudad del Carmen, to 2hrs from Campeche City in same state. Great video!! I am Campechano 🇲🇽👍🏻😊
@@MexicoRelocationGuide I live in Guadalajara during the winter months and the weather is ideal to me. However there are other nice climate locations like Lake Chapala, SMA, Queretaro and other locations in central Mexico.
Great video with really good information! Campeche (and Mexico) is now definitely on my list of possibilities. Quick question...Are US credit cards used/accepted widely in Capeche?

I love Campeche. Been twice in the past year. Would love to spend winters there when I retire.
It’s possible!
We are SO looking forward to our visit to this beautiful location.
Very pretty city, love the colors of the buildings! The food looks amazing, if I could take the heat, that would be a great place to retire.
It’s def warm to hot. Thanks for watching
I acclimated to the Mexican heat in my 2nd year here. The first year can be hot.

Best to check what it takes to get pet back to US if needed.
It’s very simple if you have their rabies shots and you are a US citizen or resident - as long as the proof of vaccinations and rabies is current

Gppd point but. Even if the electricity bill is high, it will probably be significantly less than anywhere north of the border.
