The fact Rousey didnt understand to play into being a heel proved she didn't get how the game works. the fact she took on the Rowdy name and didn't play into being the bad guy is a tragedy. Piper was one of the greatest heels ever.

After the stunt she just pulled with her recent book, using Rowdy's legacy to push her ungrateful attitude is the real issue I have more than anything.
Roddy Piper endured countless beatings during his time and was always on the road, even a broken hip, and a broken wrist, yet that never stopped him. He earned his stripes like a true legend, and as a wrestler. Ronda has no room to talk especially when she cries if nothing ever goes her way.
I have zero respect for someone like that, who's supposed to be a "professional." It's one thing to tarnish your legacy, but don't you dare try and drag someone who actually was worth a damn, down with you.
That's just my 2 cents in the subject. From all the info released thus far.
P.S.) Also let's not forget WB Games pushing her to high hell when Mortal Kombat 11 came out, making Sonya Blade sound like a boring Grandma whenever she talked, due to her overall lack of experience as a voice actor. Never gonna let that one go...

Pretty simple really: same thing that happened with her in WWE happened with her in UFC: things stopped going her way.

Her Ego Was Her Downfall. In UFC she couldn't take any negativity or criticism. It seems that Survivor Series where Charlotte attacked her abd the fans were chanting "Thank You Charlotte" really got to her. And just like in UFC when everyone wasn't heaping praise and gassing her up she acted like "F this."

Logan also wanted to be liked and be a babyface, as he said in his podcast many times, but when he saw that it wasn't happening, did he go on Twitter or in interviews and bash the business? Nah, he used the fans hatred and went full on heel like Logan just gets it, unlike Ronda and her fragile ego.

1 teamwork (everybody looks good, everybody goes home safely)
    2 selling
    3 offense
    4 mic work/promo
    5 consistency
    6 factor/stand out/in ring charisma
7 being able go heel or face
8 listening to the audience in real time and interaction with said audience
Feel like I'm forgetting sum but this good for now
I say all that to say Ronda didn't do many of the thing on this list at a high level that second year...first year was her orgin story🔥but that second year was shitty...don't know that happen..gotta have real love for the sport man and not just want a check because it's tedious work and hella sacrifices...you supposed to play like you have a big ego as a pro wrestler but really its the ones who can be around people and work together that thrive...egoless...salute to her tho💯

As an MMA fan/fanatic while she was on top all the way through her downfall and the truth is she has the biggest ego, was rude backstage during the fighter interview, and tbh her skills, besides judo were never that great, and everyonewas just hyping her up. She claims she fought Amanda for the fans but at the same time flat out denied doing any press leading up the fight. Conor was punished for doing the same thing in the diaz rematch that originally was supposed to take place at UFC 200 but shes always had a bratty attitude which is why all of us MMA fans were curious.. how long before she turns into the real ronda and all the wwe fans turn on her as well and here we are. Flat out shes just a terrible human being who believes she's better than everyone else and if youre not kissing her ass and giving in to her demands then she has no time for you and couldn't care less. Like you said, crowds can be assholes. Even if they're not, there can be other reasons your planned match isn't going over with the crowd, and learning how to improvise is a huge tool to have. Regardless of all of that, you're screwed when you go after the business in fans. It wouldn't have mattered how she was booked in her second run. She had already screwed herself. She has the athleticism but she definitely doesn’t have a thick skin and she doesn’t know how to improvise from the crowds reactions, she takes it all too personally.
Will never understand why she joined the WWE, when you’re having an identity crisis and confidence issues….joining the WWE is not a smart move.
What she should have done after her UFC losses is either humbly retire and stop making excuses or go off grid, train her ass off for a year or more and then return to the UFC.
Her joining the WWE to me was just a cop out way to try and stay relevant, you could tell she didn’t love or respect the business.
She just joined so she could feel adored again and satiate her ego.

Anyone that saw Rhonda during her time in UFC could’ve predicted how her WWE run was gonna go. That woman, historically speaking, cannot handle pressure very well.
Even though I put a lot of blame on her, I do see the point of some of the blame has to go on WWE as well. Mainly Vince McMahon with his insistence on her to be a face when clearly the only reason she was cheered initially was because she was going against a woman that was more hated than she was and that was Stephanie McMahon. Once that was over, it was pretty much downhill because a lot of the other women Were way more popular than she was. Becky Lynch certainly was and one could argue Charlotte flair was more popular or at least more respected.
Rhonda‘s attitude didn’t help anything either. At the end of the day, this could’ve worked out so much better.

Rousey was only ever happy when things were going perfectly her way. As soon as she faced any obstacle, she crumbled, lashed out and made excuses. I've never seen anyone as mentally weak and fragile as her.

Yeah I don't know why they blaming Vince McMahon for all of it Ronda Rousey was being handled like Brock Lesnar in a way. So whatever Ronda Rousey wanted to do that's what they're going to do so it's very possible she wanted to come back as a face because she wanted to be loved so much

Let’s Not Just Blame Vince… She Said “Triple H” Told Her Not Yet On The Heel Turn.
And I Will Say This, While The Bloodline Story Was Amazing, There’s Some Things That Triple H Takes Way Too Long With & Potentially Can Miss The Mark On Waiting.
LA Knight Vs Logan Paul, Bianca Belair Vs Rhea Ripely, & Honestly Cody Vs Roman Really Should Have Been Over Last Year At Wrestlemania. They Wouldn’t Have Even Of Had A Rock Problem To Begin With. It Turned Out Great But Still Sometimes He Takes Too Long To Get To The Point.

If you want to know Rhonda's attitude towards wrestling, just watch the numerous times Becky lynch has criticized her attitude and work ethic since 2019. And she has never backtracked on her comments and has instead double downed on them in recent years and it turns out she was correct.

Also agree they should’ve given lynch and ronda more time to happen should’ve given ronda some more feuds instead of thrusting her to face lynch pretty much watered down her character when she faced off against becky Ronda was too personal in an industry that thrived off entertainment

Honestly, they could have made it work but she was booked horribly. She should not have been cutting promos. She should have been given Paul Heyman or someone to hype her up. Her matches should have been short. She should not have been smiling and tagging with randoms. She should have always been a heel who looked down at wrestlers around her. She should have been undefeated until she lost to Becky at WM, without Charlotte.

She thought she was going to be the next Hogan, or rock who got cheered no matter what but she didn’t like being booed it would have been great if she played it off and became a great dominant heel. I’ve been told when you are in the business you do not talk bad about the business no one is going to want to hire you if your talking bad about the place you want to work

She is the type who needs validation 24/7. She had that with UFC until Holly Holm beat her, and then she was a laughingstock. She was happy in WWE until the fans turned on her, and instead of leaning in and heeling it up, she got all in her fee-fees and pouted about it, which only made the fans dislike her more. For someone who claimed to be a fan of the business, she had no understanding of the business.

I wasn’t aware of Ronda Rousey’s UFC background, but now I see what people are talking about. Sure, seeing Ronda come into the business the first time, that was cool!
She had all the potential to be one of the best to ever do it, but she should’ve took the time to understand the business.
    I was invested in the
Becky Lynch Vs Ronda Rousey, feud, but I think it was to early. Further more, if Ronda would’ve change her attitude, acknowledge her lost’s, and got better, then things could’ve turn out great. Don’t get me wrong, Ronda was great in the ring, but her on the mic was meh, they pretty much fed her to the wolves. That wolf was Becky.
    I agree with Ross too.
Vince McMahon just didn’t know what to do at that time just like all the rest of the wrestlers he wasted.

She’s a people’s pleaser. I understand her personality to the core. When you care what people think too much you live along enough to realize your the villain. I think her hurt is deeper than just losing in UFC and WWE. But we are just fans and perception is everything. Idk know her story but I assume it’s from upbringing and traumas success isn’t the cure to depression because you will lose yourself and not know what to do. That’s what happened to her in UFC I don’t think she’s a bad person she’s got a victim complex.

Far as I'm concerned though the E can make mistakes. But her mistakes in the business is 100% her own. The way she acted from UFC all the way to WWE does not let me know. That she's 100% telling the truth when it comes to the E. She could be just flat out lying or embellishing truth and as far as I'm concerned. I think she's hiding some truths

Ross do you see what she would've said as a heel ? She didn't want to be a heal because she fit it she wanted to say shit like she was already saying she was going to say things that would ruin belief in matches..that's why they kept her as a face because they knew she'd do things and say things that would make them fire her ... keeping her a face kept her goofy ass silent....plus he mic skills and character and attitude was trash it was never going to work and it isn't working anywhere else either as we see

Ronda Rousey turned to pro wrestling because she couldn't win in MMA, but she's not very good at pro wrestling.
However, a style like Josh Barnett's Bloodsport would be a good fit.
