Kodak's New Super 8 Camera Costs $5500

Kodak just recently released some news about their new super 8 camera. While it has lots of cool, modern features, the price point of $5500 is quite steep. What do you think of this new super 8 camera from kodak? I think this could've been a game changer at this price for 16mm but not quite for super 8 or 8mm film.

Apparently, going through bankruptcy didn't clean out the executive suite of its fools. What is amazing is that Kodak sweet talked some company in China to tool up and manufacture this gadget when it will be a surprise to everyone if they sell more than 100 of them, ever, in total. I wonder what Kodak's minimum order commitment is. Target market: film schools in NY and California.

the design looks fucking cheap. the limited stock is probably a first test production run which they now sell to minimize loss. if you try to talk this good you have lost your mind
