thank you so much for this! is there a way to mimic the hair dynamics with rendered objects (for example an array of mechanical parts) instead of curves?
Hi, and thank you! Certainly you can use a group of any mesh you want as “particles”, but I’d have to understand better your question to give a proper suggestion about how to!
@@DanielOakfield im trying to do these mech tentacles things, so i used an instance collection as my render object and it doesnt quite move the same way the curve particles move, they just shrink but dont bend
Maybe for what you have in mind IK would work better? Or even rigid body physics simulation? I really would need to see what is the effect you want, I imagine that like a chain?
Thanks for share ur knowledge with us!! i have a little problem when i render the animation the tentacles doesn't move :( just de sphere. What can i do?
This is so great! I've just started playing with hair dynamics recently and this was so helpful!!!
Glad to hear that, it’s was very much fun, and very powerful tool! Share your result!!!
Thank you
Glad you liked it :D
It's beautiful! I'll try. Greetings from Argentina
Muchisimas gracias Ezequiel!!
Very cool
Thanks Jeff

Thanks so much for this tutorial!, excelent!, is any way to make the jellyfish follow the path more slow?, thanks a lot!
Thanks Matias!
Sure you just need to space wider the key frames :)

Thank you Antonio, Italian?
I think you need to free the cache and bake it before rendering!
Colombian :D hehe yes i bake the cache and voila! hehe thank u again
@@TutsKK Great! Please share the result!!!

Haha thank you!
