I just joined as a member. I've had issues already with humana gatekeeping my medical treatment and medications.
Already have denials of procedures, meds that have been extensively important to the quality of life for me. I have many chronic health problems that I have been dealing with for decades. I only receive 30 dollars per quarter for the otc in the state where I live. I've called my agent several times and still no reply or returned phone calls.
I chose the ppo over hmo because I was informed by the agent that all of medications were covered and the dental plan/vision was better at half the price. Not true. If agent doesn't contact me in the upcoming week, when I am able to discontinue humana advantage, I will have to. I'm sure disappointed by all of this.

I have Medicare and humana and I can't get medical care. Just this morning I was denied a vital surgery. Basically I have been given a death sentence.
I have Medicare part A & B and been with United Healthcare for 10 years for my Medicare supplement plan F. Great company, I pay monthly premium but I have no co-pays. They also pay the $1600. Deductible if I am admitted to hospital.

Great advertisement. My ins broker was all, don't even call Humana I m here for all your needs. He kept referring me to Humana whenever I had a question. Like I said..... great commercial
My medical care providers prescribe different therapies and medications based on my history and the insurance denies payment.
I am going to try to go to an herbalist or naturopathic provider because I’m tired of my health and livelihood being in the hands of a for-profit medical insurance corporation and therefore can be stripped away from me at any time for any reason.

Thanks! My father was advised upon retirement from the Government 30 years ago, not to take MC B bad advice. He now wants to go on a MA PPO plan thru Humana. I’m told there will be no penalty if he’s had full coverage since retirement. Is this accurate information?
Hello there! I have enrolled in Humana the 2nd to last day of the month...that is the end of the 3rd month after 65th birth month.
Humana is stating: my application is under review. I was told it would activate on the first of the month.
BUT what happens if it fails review? I won't have an option to find an alternative as it is a day late. Can I choose a back up to the plan and have another on standby with todays date? Am I over baking this as I do everything? 🤪 THANK YOU

I have had Humana for years I had excellent insurance with them in Tennessee but when I moved to Tallahassee I can’t get the same it is worthless to me I can’t even go to a walk in clinic and I didn’t have a copay when I wet to my regular now I have to pay 35.00 and they billed me for the whole bill when the Dr.took my copay

As a medical biller - Aetna is the worst on the providers end
They keep calling my house I want me to see one of their doctors and I don't want to because I feel that it's none of their information repeating my health I told them if they want to meet with me meet me at my doctor office and she could look at anything she want to look at but they've been calling me a lot and I don't like it they should explain to me before I even decide to go with them I do not let strangers into my house that I don't know if they have a problem paying the bill or whatever they can look at the medical so Humana just bugs me too much so I don't talk to them I think it's a scam they need to quit calling
