Nice review. I purchased the Corsair H100i a month ago and I fully agree on what you point out with regards to cabling. Corsair need to do something about that. Its an absolute nightmare to cable manage a corsair system. But I think when it comes down to aestetics a Corsair build do look nice and the cooling is great even the fans do make a good amount of noise when setting the system to "performance" in iCue. I have seen others do the testing with 3'rd party fans wich, yes can be used to compare 2 different Aio's actual performance given the same air flow conditions, but imo totally beats the purpose of buying an all out RGB Aio. If you are going to exchange the fans for the H100 wich are already quite good ML fans you might as well go full custom. But these Aio's is primarily for those of us who don't want to bother with bending pibes and don't have the money to buy a top graphics card where you can get a waterblock that fits. And for a budget build with some rgb bling bling both of these coolers will do just fine

I just got the new Coolermaster TD500 Mesh in white, was thinking of getting a H100i Platinum Se to match, and moving the old one to my 2600 rig. Due to your review I picked up the ID cooling AIO for £90 on Amazon UK which was £40 cheaper than the Corsair H100i at the time. So far over the moon My R5 2600 is clocked at 4Ghz @ 1.325v idle temp is around 29c while gaming I'm getting 44c which I thought was low so I used 4 different software tools to check and all show a similar temp in the low 40's using my own thermal paste not the included stuff. A really surprising temp but I do have a max airflow case and good case fans. Running it in a push only config and at about 50% fan and pump speed.

One thing I wish you went over is Warrenty, Zoomflow has a 2 year, but will they replace anything in lets say in a rare event that it leaks? I couldn't tell you. Corsair's 5 year warranty and vary quick response to one of their coolers leaking and replacing everything that was damaged is enough of a selling point for me personally even with the 70$ markup and just better software. Corsair crossed shipped a cooler for me that was failing as my machine was used for work, I only had 1 and half day of down time on that machine and they paid the shipping without me even asking.

1-2 degree in real life is basically the same.
And when you swap ID cooling Fan with a better one then it will perform better.

And Id cooling max rpm is 1.8k+/-
Get the ID Cooling and use the $70 for a better performing fan.

For me the most important thing for AIO besides the look is the control. As far as I know, only Corsair and NZXT who offer control using coolant temps instead of CPU temps. CPU temperature is so erratic which cause making a stable fan curve very difficult, whereas coolant temperature is more stable and more directly relevant as the radiator & fans are cooling the coolant not CPU. If budget is not a concern definitely get Corsair or NZXT and between these 2 depending if you want to use iCue or Cam.

I'm currently trying to fill out a Pc O11 Dynamic with a 360 AIO and 9 total white frame, argb fans that I can set fan curves for. ID Cooling is one of the few companies I can find the fans they use on AIO sold separately (XF-12025-RGB-TRIO_SNOW). so then utilizing a 360mm 240x for 89$...via newegg in my USDM. And 3 P12 arctic fans for example LOW DB high CFM. Fans it can perform quite well. Since the arctic freezer 360mm and fractal 360mm is always sold out

I got the the 360 zoomflow for 97 USD during primeday
I use it to cool a Ryzen 3700x
    Fractar Design Meshify S2
My rooms ambient temperature fluctuates between 25 - and 30 celsius
    This thing is amazing.
AIDA64 FPU stress test after 8 hours averages at 55 celsius
I will add 3 noctua fans for a push/pull configuration and see if it gets even better

Great video had exactly that dilemma on the 360, went with the budget and happy I did.
You clearly should have more subscribers, so what’s the issue?
invest in a better microphone as your audio is not crisp .
Speak less rapidly, sometimes it’s hard to follow
And add some greater energy and connect through to your viewers
Your clearly passionate about what your doing but it’s not radiating through the screen and a little monotone.
Great real world everyday users content.
You’ve gained another subscriber. Keep it up.

Good review and comparison analysis bet. 2 aios.
Since I am in budget constraint, and was forced to sell 2 arcanas (huhu), I did taking ID-COOLING

Had the Zoomflow 360X and it honestly felt a bit low quality. The fans felt very cheap, sticker on the side of the rad started peeling, and the sleeving of the tubes were slightly frayed. Steve also mentioned those in his review of the Pinkflow which is a pink version of the Zoomflow. I replaced my Zoomflow with a Deepcool L360 v2 which feels much more high quality.
Corsair much more expensive but you also have to consider the warranty and aftersales.
5 years vs 2 years warranty. Corsair also comes with ML120 fans. They also reimburse you for any damage their AIO does in case of a leak, not sure if ID Cooling does that.

Even the price back then , 2 yrs ago , i would still go for id cooling , but now , it only cost 50$ here in my country , while the Corsair H100i Platinum still cost 200$ , so yea , i would absolutely go for id cooling , i would spend the extra 150$ probably extra budget for my gpu , or nvme or etc , you can do alot of stuff with 150$ extra budget

Even though the corsair came in on top you really should have mounted your radiator differently, the tubes on top is a no go.

Great review...thumbs up and have subbed.
I bought the H100i Platinum in March 2019 and about 3 weeks later there was a recall of them due to a leak problem.
Mine wasn't leaking but it was in the faulty batch number so I RMA'd it. I didn't have great experience with Corsair with long delays waiting for answers....all was good in the end though and I ended up with 2 brand new units courtesy of Corsair.... full story is on my youtube channel.
Anyway it's been great for the last 16 months and is used every day.
However I recently replaced the stock fans.
The reason being that my PC sits next to me on the desk with the rad at eye level and the LL120 fans have no side window view so I cant see any of the RGB effect.
THE LL120's look fantastic from the front (I have 3 vertical in my Lian Li case) but they are wasted RGB wise on the rad ......So I have just fitted some Alpenfohn Wng Boost ones from Overclockers UK ...they are great...nicley made...they do 2 ...a standard and a high speed and the high speed has a higher static pressure and airflow than the LL120's and the same 2,200 ish max rpm (again there are 2 different spec LL120's ..the one's on the H100i are the higher speed ones...other LL120's are 1500rpm).
Although not as impressive from the front the Alpenfohn ones are quieter at full revs than the LL120's and look great from the side which is what I wanted... and a much better price ....I now have 2 spare LL120's that I will be using in an upcoming build where you can see them from the front in all their glory.
Again thanks for the review....came across your channel on a recommendation of it from Carey Holzman's

This video is great timing for me, however I have already gone through this switch. I had this exact corsair AIO and it died on me in the middle of a work day. I smelled an "electrical fire" kinda smell, and saw that it died. I had to shut down and put on my stock cooler that came with my 3800x. Fast forward to yesterday when my ID Cooling Zoomflow snow edition came, the same in this video, and I installed it. This Id zoomflow actually is cooling better than the expensive Corsair. My idle temps with the ID Zoomflow is 4 degrees lower than the Corsair.

      @jameysummers1577 4 роки тому

My stress temps are much better as well. Now, it could be that the Corsair wasn't working correctly all along.
