    If your opponent captures your knight with his knight, take the bishop with your Queen, let him take your bishop and then go to b5, putting the king in check and attacking the knight

      @@Guy.WhoAsked One of my opponents played d5 on the second move and ended up getting trapped. I had no life so I checked through their games and noticed that they played d5 and pinned the knight at every literal king’s pawn opening
      More people need to know about this trap.

    For the people wondering why he had to play h3 it's because if Nxe5, blacks knight can recapture while also protecting the bishop.

    This is my favourite checkmate. For aaages I used to get frustrated with that pointless bishop Knight pin. Usually always ended up trading a Knight for a bishop but then this happened

    I've played italian opening for quite hundreds of games. Knew the giuco piano, knew the fork, knew the counter as black but it's my first time learning this. I move differently once opponent moves d6. Now I'm gonna keep on spamming this variation since it seems very easy to encounter and do as a 1000 rated player 🤣

    NOTE!
    If instead they take back with the knight, and you take the bishop with your queen, they can take YOUR bishop.
    You need Qb5+ which wins back the knight.

    I didn’t even know this was a trap. I had a variation with this happen while I was playing black. He greedily took my Knight with the bishop and I mated him with bishop and queen. 38 second game. Caught me completely by surprise

    If black takes the knight and you take the bishop, their next move would be to take the white bishop hanging so you lose two pieces for one. It only works if your opponent has no clue of the trick but at what cost should you risk it

    Any other beginners notice 400-600 elo chess is difficult online because it’s such a mixed bag of players. Can’t practice openings at all because players in my range don’t look to develop they just want to get straight into the action, I end up losing some games because I can’t predict how they will play even remotely

    It's the legal trap. It's good to kick away the bishop by pushing the pawn on h3 but instead directly going with the Nxe5 would be better most of the time as the opponent will be 99% tempted to take the queen
