Is wifi needed or we screen mirror through mobile hotspot?
Yes using wifi hotspot you can also connect airplay from iphone to samsung smart tv. For screen mirror, photo, video no issue it works perfectly for app streaming you may face lag or some apps not supported.
First start screen mirror than use app streaming it will work for some apps, for hotstar it works for me.

Allow from remote if some request appear on tv and also enter code as shown on tv to mobile.

Meri TV m airplay h and phone m screen mirroring bhi, mere aapka same method use Jiya lekin iPhone m TV ka name show nhi ho rha
check in tv that airplay is turned on, wifi network is the same that is connected in iphone.

TV should support airplay, should be on same wifi network of iphone or connect TV with iphone hotspot.

from remote you can select the iphone screen to make it full.
When you play some landscape content it will play on tv in landscape.

My samsung android phone doesn't has screen mirroring option in notification panel..what can I do
This video was regarding airplay iphone to samsung smart tv. However android screen mirroring is also support by samsung smart tv.
For this you have to use smart view icon in quick notification panel. See the details at here

My Samsung does not have a settings bar on the bottom like this one
New models like 2018 or later have airplay support. Check the model of your tv. You can also share i will tell you.

@@nancyschaefer9748 UA-cam app may not using airplay that is a proprietary connection for samsung. Check the settings of TV as described in video if your tv has airplay
