This is pretty much how I modeled the X-Wing that's on my channel. I had a side, front, and top view lined up on these different planes and thought "hey, that's pretty neat..."
I have a problem, whenever I try to use an image with transparency (for example .png) as a reference it loads awfully glitched, with random black bars and weird geometrical shapes filling area that is supposed to be transparent. Do you by any chance know how to fix it?

Only works in parts, does not work in assemblies for some strange reason. It is greyed out as an option.
