For those that don't know. Erik is very funny and he gets a kick out of torturing his uke's in a good way and you will learn some awesome techniques. I have had the pleasure of attending his seminars and always look forward to the next.
He's also using the guy with the best reactions. Some people won't wince that much, even if they're experiencing the same pain. For a video, you need this guy.

i don't get the detail. what's the difference? his pushes down on the chest with his elbow ... ? please explain
It increases the compression of the choke. He is not only pushing down, he is slightly changing the angle and it sinks the choke in deeper and tighter.
Why is he choking him all the way tho 😭😭🤦.. don't need to do that.. everybody know chokes work when fully applied..
That's not a choke instruction.
