Love the sounds and sights! Bess Hardwick had numerous descendants in the U.S. especially through her great granddaughter Jane Lowe and husband Henry Sewall who settled in Maryland. Bess’ great-great grandmother Isabel Aylesbury was a sister of Eleanor Aylesbury who was an ancestor of Col. Thomas Ligon of Virginia who was one of my forebears.
