They had probably the scariest real city that every existed, constant darkness/clouds, terrible air and disease. I remember the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon back when TV was still good. There's an episode with Spring Heeled Jack and he is portrayed as a leprechaun with a tongue for rhyming as he speaks. The Tiger Talisman was used, splitting him in two, the Talismans power being the separation of one, parting good from bad and in Jackie's case, his bad side was called Black Tiger and his good side is a cowardly wimpy mess, but he still maintained his martial artistry. The art and story telling is amazing.
thank you for this legend, really interestring folklore from the British history.! looking forward for more videos from this era!
This is my first visit to your channel and I must say that I am really impressed - by the excellent and clearly spoken narrative, the impressive illustrations and animations, and finally the highly interesting subjects dealt in the videos. Needless to say, I immediately subscribed and now look forward to watching all previous and upcoming videos. 😉
Interesting indeed. First time ive heard of this tale. The industrial world, smog, disease, death mustve been terrifying and horrific. Thanks very much, i enjoyed it.
Wow! Genuinely love this new animated format! Keep it up!
The production quality of this channels content is on another freaking level.
Subbed!
i loved hearing about spring heeled jack. he is a truly terrifying creature. could you do dorian gray or jekyll and mr. hyde. please and thank you. also, love the animation
First time here. Excellent video. You have a very even and articulate speaking voice which is essential for these kind of videos. The art and animations are a great backdrop , the music low, appropriate and non distracting and it appears you have really done your homework on your subjects. Well done.
I just found this channel. It's incredibly well produced. Subscribed and bingeing.
I’ve watched all your videos was waiting for you to upload a new one
D-Hero Dashguy in Yu-gi-oh is based on Spring Heeled Jack.
This is the first video of yours I've seen in a while, and I like this intro!
Also, could you do a series on the Penny Dreadful characters? I think that would be great!
First time I heard of Spring Heeled Jack was the show Freakylinks.
Its a good cartoon and maybe I'll watch it again sometime!]:P
*in Sherlock Holmes voice* The game is afoot, Watson!
He does sound rather posh, doesn't he?
@@ZnenTitan quite so good sir
@Maria Kelly I didn't even know the paranormal existed in the Sherlock Holmes universe. Well, with him being a skeptic anyway. Of course, only Sherlock Holmes books I read were graphic novels anyway
Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.
Springheeled Jack would beat the shit out of Holmes. He would then beat the shit out of Watson.
Incredible graphics...TY... luv the character featured
I'm surprised no one has bothered to make a horror movie on this legend. It seems like it would pretty much write itself.
Wow these are amazing mate! Please do continue
As soon as I saw what your channel was about I hit subscribe immediately! Glad I found you! My love for everything English/British especially its history left you on my suggested feed
More of these please
I was hella impressed by those animations. Well done.
The videos are certainly becoming more involved and more animated. I hope the good Patreon people can help keep the lights on.
SLIPPITY SLAP IT’S SPRING HEELED JACK!

You should also look into the current sightings. Spring heeled jack sightings have continued through to the current day.
I love the new intro. Been a fan of this channel for a long time and I like what you've done with it!
It would be really cool to see a video like this about the beast of Gevaudan.
