One other thought, if it’s too high like this you loose some balance on off/camber rock crawling. Especially if you put a lot of overlanding crap on top of it.
i have a teraflex 3” lift kit, and it’s interesting you have more body roll. i don’t have variable rate springs so i assume that’s the difference. i find my jeep rides rougher but takes turns with way less body roll.
Nicolas Price it’s probably those cheaper RC monotube shocks. Could step up to something adjustable like a Fox or King and get rid of a lot of the body roll.
I believe they mentioned going full overland build and the rear weight with the additional equipment will cause the back to drop quite a bit. For 37s all you really need is 3.5-4.0" IMHO ;)
Love the 6" lift...but those lil 37s look a bit odd. Would love to do that 6" to my Mojave. Would go 40's probably I already have the 5.13 gears (only 38s right now)
My girlfriend uses a step like that..needs 38s ..I prefer a simple walk around video ..without some body standing in the way..looks awesome .. making me want one bad
A 6" lift is not needed for 37's. Adam Sandaval has the same jeep with 40" tires and basically a 2" leveling kit, they take it on a East to West coast trip on some pretty difficult trails with no issues.
I just got rid of my gladiator 6” 38” tires for a 53 yr old female I was getting tired of it daily. I downsized and got a Rubicon 4xe with all the bells and whistles. These things are not cheap!!!
I have a question for you since you said you would drive it for a long ride. I've been looking at getting the 6inch lift for my gladiator rubicon. The only thing is that I drive 1400km to my parents every summer. Would you say it would be good at driving on highways for roughly 12hrs straight? I really appreciate your videos. You have really helped me a lot with figuring out what I want to do to my gladiator!
@2:03 Sagging in the front....without an aftermarket bumper or winch. POS lift. Gears? Brakes? If you're going to commit to 6" there's no reason to go 37's(unless it's a budget thing).
Hey man good video, I have an overland with a 2.5 skyjacker kit and stock 3.73 gears can I run 37s without breaking anything? I dont care about milage lol
Why? So you can pay 2x's as much for fuel, 10x's as much for oil changes. Not to mention $4000.00 more for the diesel option ONLY available with the fat girl automatic. This isn't 1995 anymore. Gas engines regularly run for hundreds of thousands of miles and out perform diesels. Before you point to power figures, remember that coal burner only revs to 2-3k RPM. Have fun "Rolllin' Coal" in your choo-choo train as I pass your ass doing a four wheel burn-out because I spent that same $4k on a supercharger that doesn't void warranty.
Hey guys! I am looking at going with this kit with the vertex shocks and all the arms. My question is with my potential build, will it still be able to flex a fair bit on trail without tipping? Thanks!
Alright I need some stats. What is your height and inseam. I am built very similar. I think a smaller lift height might be better in the long run. 30" inseam here. You look about a 26"..
the only thing that makes it a mall crawler kit is if you lift it to street drive it only, this kit does absolutely fine in the mud and dirt off-road what are you talking about 🙄
well it looks great but id rather go with a 3"-3.5" lift if i was only gonna run 37's or 38's reason #1 to keep a lower center of gravity #2 i just like the low look i guess #3 its kinda excessive and i really wouldn't want the extra height and id just go with the rock krawler lift or clayton offroad and if you got some more money hell go with some coilovers :D but damn i must say it the 6" lift kit looks awesome ; )
6” lift,cool... rough country, um ... seriously? I’ve had RC on a previous lifted vehicle... wasn’t happy with the quality that I got for the money I paid. It’s your guys rig... not my cup of tea.
So within 2 years they have turned into an awesome company? I’m not buying it. I had a lift, a long arm kit (the best right?) on a WJ . Squeeked everywhere and had to replace several joints within 6 months... that’s with a professional install in Colorado (they know their Jeeps) and monthly greasing/maintenance of all joints... think what you want... RC is not my cup of tea.

Is a 6" Lift Kit too big?
One other thought, if it’s too high like this you loose some balance on off/camber rock crawling. Especially if you put a lot of overlanding crap on top of it.
I have the 6 inch lift and put 42's on mine. 2022 sport.
How’s it ride? I have the sport as well? Is it sketchy on highways? Do you still have 3.73 gears?

Im going to buy one and the lift kit not to mention 40 inch tires
look small for some reason, maybe the small tires, needs 40's
We agree! That is next on our list
For the 6” liftkit you need to install 40” tires for the looks, now the tires looks a little bit small...
Guido Kartner no lie

Jeff Shapiro that is absolutely true !
What about 42's?

Question!?🤚
I have “2018 Wrangler JL Sport” I was thinking of either doing 4in or 6in. What kind of tires do you think would work best!? 🤨

Caster in front and pinion angles addressed in kit?
Looks bad ass ,but can see alot of body roll. Think I would do the 3.5 with 37s. Great video
Thanks for watching!

Does this have 3.73 gears and any additional steering components/ drive shaft for the lift or is it just the out of the box 6 inch kit on a sport?
What gears you running
Do you need to regear with this lift ?
Hey man good video, I have an overland with a 2.5 skyjacker kit and stock 3.73 gears can I run 37s without breaking anything? I dont care about milage lol
You put 37s on stock 373? Issues?
My wife has been running 37s on her JL with 3.73 for a year. We haven't had a problem yet.
are those sport or overland fender flares? Love to not have to replace my gator green overland flares.
My future plans 👍🏼
Where in Pennsylvania are you guys located I need someone to put a lift on my Jeep
An insane amount of break over angle on these for offroad. 4" lift and 42" tires minimum to not be a trail tampon.
Stfu lol they can do whatever they want.
They do have to be lifted pretty high to become more capable!
37 inch + tires is the best excuse for the Diesel engine option ...

@@MoragTong_ 2x more $ in fuel?? 10x more $ in oil changes?? SURE😂🤣
Are the front drop brackets flimsy? Could they be boxed in ?
jason the brackets are nice and strong
Did this get regeared at all?
Hey guys! I am looking at going with this kit with the vertex shocks and all the arms. My question is with my potential build, will it still be able to flex a fair bit on trail without tipping? Thanks!
I have a 6 inch lift on my FJ. I offroad in CO and yes it gets tippy. Have to think about lines more than other people.
Question I just installed my lift after watching this video or ur other one. But I have crazy body roll. Not sure why.
Are you using a RC lift I heard if you use a short arm kit it does that
What front fender system is that ?
I tow my can am 4 seater a lot, I want the 6”, would the rear sag a lot, or are the springs pretty stiff ?
It should handle well
Looks same as GOONZQUAD 1 same color and parts there's was done before you and thers is SUPERCHARGER 😎👍
Maybe we should put a hemi in ours!
theres had a rebel offroad coilover lift, not even comparable
37s are too small for a 6”
Alright I need some stats. What is your height and inseam. I am built very similar. I think a smaller lift height might be better in the long run. 30" inseam here. You look about a 26"..
Matt is a 30" inseam, the top of the bed sits at about 5'8"
This is a Mall Crawler kit only. But it does look pretty bad ass.

Just got mine back with a 3.5 inch lift and 38inch tires, drives well but doesn't get in to 8th gear. Bummer
Time to regear!
@@CJBroncoF150 what gearing would you recommend, I'll also might go to 40s next time
If you’re wanting to go to 40’s I’ve heard 5.13’s are the way to go. Even 5.38’s maybe. Depends if you’re towing a lot or not as well
How does it ride ? Did you regear ?
Lol. Love the intro.
What bed rack is that?
And is it compatible with a tonneau cover
42s on stock axles🙂
Good bye warranty if you start wearing stuff out. They aren't going to cover your busted welds running 40's.
Awesome

Yeah but there’s a new engine and transmission coming for the 2020 Frontiers
Lol still wont touch the Tacoma.
How’s the mileage?
14-16 mpg
What gears did you guys go with
What are your mpg's?
14-16!
Nah you just need to know how to drive I drive my Jk on 37s 6 inch lift picking up wheels around the corners 😂 and that’s a 2 door
Those are 40s probably
Ñice!
Your front ends sags...needs to be leveled. Money well spent. Derp
No!

Rough country has definitely improved a ton over the years, their parts are really well designed!

🤣🤣
We're pretty happy too!
@@CJBroncoF150 Just loved the intro
Bad quality lift kit RC
The lift is very well built to be honest, and unlike a lot of other companies includes everything including a drive shaft!
