New subscriber here! Love hearing you play! I am a pianist at my Church and would love to know how you do those (what I would call) arpeggio runs where you go up and then back down. I can do it going up but I have never been able to figure out the fingering to go back down. 🤦♂️ If you ever have the time it would be neat to see a slow motion tutorial of how you finger that. 😊
ua-cam.com/video/wFXbdDl6fn4/v-deo.html - example of them being used With descending arpeggios it's always helpful to play them as you normally would and then slowly play them going back down. For me, I've taken some "real" lessons, but never really studied, just learned from my church pianist and did octave chord, so I'm not sure if this the "classical' fingering, but this is how I do it. I play in octaves, so for example if I want to play an Eb chord going down, I'll play an octave on G, with the Eb and Bb in the middle. So I play 5(G)-4(Eb)-2(Bb)-1(G) to start of and then go 421-421-421. That's as far as my knowledge goes though lol, as of right now, I can only do them starting on 3rds or sometimes (If my hands cooperate, I can do a minor going down one octave). So for Ab that would be C-Ab-Eb-C using the same finger numbers. I hope this helps ;)
So, so beautiful! A gorgeous arrangement❤❤❤❤
