Honestly I'm glad to hear that... I'm okay with this as an "accident", but... I don't think it's good game design, and if it wasn't happening in a fan game from such a beloved source, I don't think anyone would be calling it anything other than what it is: a bad boss designed to be too hard for the mechanics of a fighting game. As an accident, though... it's pretty funny, given the hell it's unleashed on the top FGC players. Still, I hope Max and co patch it down to something more reasonable.
@@abaddononion I think they should nerf the Arcade Mode/Dramatic Battle Mode boss... but also include a bonus boss option that takes you straight to the old version for the players who really want to challenge it.

It's funny that the enemy teams all have a common theme lol. Frank and Spider-Man both being photographers and Bucky and Spencer both having cybernetic arms.
Doing this boss 2 player is a way better experience than single player. Single player you just have to give up on finesse and do the best you can to position both characters. 2 player you can bring out everything with your character. Not that it makes it easy. Best thing about 2 player is it gives you someone you can bitch to that understands your pain.

The thing with Ultron Omega is that the game definitely prioritizes making "traditional" characters face each other, while UO is more like an interactable object, hence why Justin's characters keep turning around to face the Ultron drones behind them, as those are "traditional" characters & get priority over UO; I bet the same would happen in fights with Apocalypse, Onslaught, & Galactus in prior games had mooks fought alongside them, too. Honestly, this doesn't seem like something that can be fixed via a patch, either, at least not without completely recoding how the game sees UO during this fight, which would likely be too much work, in the long run.

The only part of this that seems extremely unfair is how the CPU can move both characters independently while the player is stuck having their two characters bound together. They can create 50/50 mixups, and you’re essentially just forced to watch
Did u ever happen to play tatsunoko vs capcom? Cuz trying to beat Yami with Gold Lightan in the hardest mode feels way worse (Yami has 3 forms you don’t get health back since is only gold lightan and doesnt have shield making 2nd and 3rd forms harder by their grab )

Seems like Max has some bugs to work out on that. Even on normal Ultron's supers barely made a dent on the damage and the camera focusing on the wrong thing is a huge problem too. I get that very hard is supposed to be challenging but I hope Max and his team fix this up so that its actually a legit fight even at the hardest level.
It didn't do a lot because he didn't hit the weak point. The weak point is Ultron on top of the Sigma head. Watch Max's video and you'll see how much damage you do

you should check out Pokemon: Close Combat sometime, it is a fighting game pokemon fangame that has some really cool characters imo, Tyrouge and Poliwrath are some i would recommend you check out if you ever give the fangame a chance
