Hey Skwerl! Interesting watchmaker ... but very difficult to find. The last entry on PK's FB page is 2013.... but I do like his talent. Take care, Bill
Not sure about today...But an Oct 2017 article in WatchTime, stated Pierre Kunz Brand, was owned by The Franck Muller Group. A July 2007 article in europa star, stated the Kunz brand was going strong, and that was '5 years ago'. So, I guess this all started in 2002.
Hello Bill! Very interesting picks as always. I’d come across this watchmaker when looking for retrograde seconds; I eventually found one in a cheaper Daniel JeanRichard. The Cupidon movement looks beautifully finished in addition to being quirky 🤩
Thank you, Bill! Ooooh, I really like that square-shaped retrograde linear hour. So cool and interesting. Though, yes, it seems to be a rare (nonexistent?) commodity.😢 Also, I wonder if Pierre Kunz and Gerald Genta ever crossed paths? From a dial design perspective, they seem to share something in common. Anyway, thanks again!
Thanks for the video Bill. I had never heard of Pierre Kunz before, I'm going to have to take a look at him. You've shown us some interesting watches, but the Cupidon movement is really fun. Best regards, Brian
Hey Brian! Ole PK certainly isn't constrained by convention! Very interesting guy with the usual abysmal Website presence so common among watchmakers! Take care, Bill
Thanks for another great video Bill! I've come across this watchmaker before, but I wasn't sure. Now I'm seriously considering adding a Grande Retrograde to my collection. Btw, "a short attention span production" cracks me up every time. I appreciate your sense of humour sir😁
I had to Google it and after staring for a second my reaction was "Of course!". Great way to double the length of the hour track. And now I'm wondering why he hasn't combined that idea with a retrograde complication to make a swirly seconds hand going like maybe 10:45 to 12:15 on the Insanity.
When a jaded watch fan starts to think they've seen everything, a producer like Kunz is a real breath of fresh air. Thanks, Bill!
Thank goodness for that CD! Take care, Bill
Such an interesting complications and unique watches. I think this is where horology, fun and Engineering meet. Thanks Bill 🙏🏽
Exactly, Abdul! They're even affordable! رمضان مبارك Take care, Bill

Very interesting maker. He certainly shows a creative flourish.
Very creative guy, Chiller. I agree. Take care, Bill
Hi Bill. You keep surprising me with the most fascinating watch brands. The Equation du Temps is a pretty looking design.
Hi Tuna! When I was looking for a EOT, I saw the PK but the Longines was a lot less expensive; so it got the nod. Take care, Bill
Yes indeed Bill. These days, Longines is on a roll. All the best.@@watchartsci
I love it when you bring attention to these small brands. I hadn't thought of PK in years! And now I can afford them!

Yes, Alan, I couldn't touch on all of the models, and "insanity" is much fun. Take care, Bill
Love it!
