Yes stray kids do receive a lot of uncalled for hate, they are one of the most loving and grateful groups that work so hard every day to make stay proud and spoil us with so many things lol I'm glad you are getting to experience all types of emotions with them cause they are truly special and for the ones that really stay they will be a very happy and comforting part of your life
hyunjin wrote #lovestay during his hiatus thinking of stays, he spend four months writing the song, during those four months he learned the piano so he could play it himself for lovestay and the lyrics are actually letters stays wrote for him. he loves stays so much so he wrote this song to express his love and appreciation for stay. hyunjin's hiatus was a very hard time for all of us so whenever the other memebers used #lovestay on one of their post (which hyunjin was the one that created the #) it would make us feel as if he was still with us and gave us hope that he was coming back so it is a very important # for all stays

for context they were crying because they were surprised by a gift from stays of them talking about how much they love and appreciate them plus how proud they are of them so they started crying

The #lovestay is constantly used and was created by Hyunjin on Instagram
When he was on hiatus Chan and Stays were avoiding his name to avoid the hate, so we were referring him as #lovestay boy or the creation of the hashtag and using it
I like to think that Hyunjin wrote this song because he saw our support ? I don't know, we will probably never know but I like to think about it like that because it's just comforting to me to think about him knowing about our love and support while he was away
That's not the first time they did something like this. They are always trying to release something special for us on such a personal level. For example "You can STAY" I cried while watching this. They mean a lot for us, you will understand even better if you'll watch longer introduction videos like "skzflix". You don't need to react to them, just watch and enjoy
About the last part, I don't know about any member who hates losing but there are a couple who are very competitive. It depends on the kind of game/challenge they're doing but the most consistently competitive ones I'd say would be Lee Know and Seungmin (Finding SKZ/bowling game/SKZ family/SKZ Running Man). This is probably why they are often pitted against each other because it gets really FIERCE (*cough* THAT slide tackle *cough*). Also, Seungmin's work on the Buddy Catcher game is just chef's kiss. He excels more in brain-game stuff I think. Some members have also gotten really competitive recently like Felix and I.N in the buddy catcher game. I.N is legitimately challenging Lee Know's position as SKZ's "physically strongest" member. I.N and Seungmin were partners for most of the Buddy Catcher game and they were "brains and brawn" in the most literal sense.

LoveSTAY literally broke me man. I warned you before you watched it that it was emotional LMAO. the amount of hate towards the whole group is so disheartening and uncalled for.. I'm so glad Hyunjin (and the others ofc) finally gets to let out some of his pent up emotions. he said it was really hard for him to be away from stays for so long so I'm just really happy he can communicate his longing through songs and dance.. :')

The "Han Jisung" game that you were confused about: it was basically "if you remove the 'sung' from Han Jisung, what name is left?" It's a play on words. The "sung" basically translates to "surname." So it's a question of how you perceive it: If you remove "sung" from Han Jisung, are you removing his surname and thus leaving just his given name of Jisung, or are you removing the word "sung" and thus leaving the other two syllables: Han Ji.
What's funny is that one of their arguments was that if it meant removing the actual word "sung," that would mean people call him Hanji, which they don't. So of course STAY picked up on that, and now Hanji is legit one of the names we call him.
I don't think any of them is competitive when it comes to just for fun games but you can see how they hate losing when its a real competition. Like in kingdom, they got number 5 for ibym, they were all looks so mad especially lee know , seungmin and changbin. Jeongin even cried because he was so mad at himself eventho its not his fault :( 3RACHA works until 5am during kingdom to arrange the song. You can watch the skz kingdom behind

I wanna come back to the fact you said we have to do something back. There actually is a project in the making of a video from stays all around the world. The idea came right after the #lovestay came. It's from someone on twitter but I don't ember the @, ill look it up and ill send it if I find it.

They're all pretty competitive, when you consider the fact that they're in an incredibly cut-throat industry and managed to 1) even debut and 2) reach the level of success they have so far. That said, some have particular moments or areas where they're more competitive. Seungmin really likes things where he can show an academic/intellectual advantage. Lee Know will find any loophole (or outright cheat) he can think of; granted, it's usually for laughs rather than wins, but he'll absolutely take the win if he gets it. Changbin observes a lot more than most people seem to realize, and he can be very strategic when he wants, but he's also pretty good at losing unless he feels he himself actually failed (basically competing against himself). Han is an _absurdly_ good liar and thief, with that clever mind and quick tongue, and he's used that to win things multiple times. I.N has gotten more and more invested in proving his physical strength as he's reached adulthood, but he's also smart enough to play the Agi Bbang cute card if that's what he needs. I'd probably consider Felix the least externally competitive, but that doesn't mean he lacks it, just that it's less important to him unless it's either a matter of helping the group (as opposed to himself) win or it's a challenge he's set for himself (like learning and now continuing to improve his Korean, or working on his higher singing voice). Hyunjin, too, is pretty competitive with himself and constantly challenging himself to gain or improve various skills, so he's another one where I think the competitiveness is more self-focused. I've thought about this many times, probably for close to year, and I think Chan might actually be the overall most competitive one. Not always, not in everything or against everyone. But overall, particularly when he's in reaction mode rather than reasoning mode (like physical competitions) or when he can kind of view the competition as himself (like constantly improving his production skills). I don't think there's really a one-size-fits-all way to qualify their competitiveness, though.
