Pure Love in Kamurocho is amazing! Akiyama's version is just beautiful, Koichi Yamadera outdid himself on Akiyama's karaoke as a whole. Maybe my favorite Yakuza karaoke song along with Machine Gun Kiss, Iji Sakura and Raindrops (Hana's version is terrific!). I'd like to try singing Pure Love In Kamurocho one day too, even if you fail singing a good song is always great

Now that I realize Baka Mitai and Pure Love in Kamurocho are polar opposites- one's about singing with your partner and the other's about well..... drowning your sorrows. Hope I can find a girl that agrees to a karaoke duet since singing alone over a glass doesn't sound that fun,at least for now
This Song is my Favourite from the Yakuza Series others are great too but this is something Beyond , they both sang Perfect , Divine , Exceptional , etc . The Best I'd say .

I thought he was better than Kiryu lol! The closest one I could maybe sing is Baka Mitai but even then it would only be the chorus lol

I have yet to play through 5-8 so I don’t know if there are even better ones but this one is high up there for sure!
I wish there were more duets in the karaoke library in the Yakuza series. It's basically just this, and I guess "Like a butterfly."
I agree 100%. You can go on dates and unlock new voices who sing the same song but not really duets.
