      A lot of times Hikaru plays Danya in bullet, he keeps mentioning that he is nervous. I can see why, Danya is hyper aggressive lmao and has a demonic speed. I got nervous watching Aman play him lmao. However, I think with the amount of pre moves that Danya does, sometimes it would be safe to go for trickier moves, but Aman has a safer playing style.

    While I'm truly impressed at how fast these guys play, I struggle to find enjoyment watching chess in this format for very long. It's so beyond my puny understanding of the game, that aside from the mad respect for the fact they can think and react this fast, it just goes way over my head. I like the slower format games, where I might actually learn something from it I guess is what I'm trying to say.

    • @brandonfahlberg9678
      @brandonfahlberg9678 2 роки тому +27

      Agreed, especially because both players are GMs, so I don't get understand any of it. My favorite is blitz speedruns, because they have time to talk about their moves, don't need to concentrate, and because their opponents are making moves I understand.

    • @edincuric3873
      @edincuric3873 2 роки тому +20

      I guess it's a question of taste. Watching GMs play each other doesn't necessarily help amateurs improve their game. Of course there are some openings, tricks and traps you could adapt, but generally their technique is way too advanced to constantly catch on. Bullet Imo sets the standard to an "easier" level to comprehend (for me), if you have the possibility to pause the video every now and then. Because they're playing more of an reactive chess game (like amateurs also do in rapids) or are following very distinct plans instead of thinkin 10 moves ahead.

    If you think that Danya can hang with Magnus and Hikaru, who are undoubtedly the best of the best in blitz and bullet, and Aman, even with 20 seconds odds, can hang with him, says a lot of how strong Aman is, and Danya recognizes too!
    Maybe in the future can we see a match like this Danya 50 seconds against Eric 1 minute? 🤔

    • @cosmic5789

    Hey Aman, I have an idea. What about "Handicap Chess" against lower rated Players? You play like 5 min Blitz and every 5 moves you get a new challange to deal with like "no pawn moves in the next 5 moves" or "only move forward the next 5 moves", something like this. We had an IM in our chess club to play a match like this against us and it was fun (the opponent doesnt know what you have to do, so that makes it a bit more spicy). What do u think?

    "People look at Aman's rating and think he's bad"
    Me, 1500, looking at Aman's 2920 rating: Yeah he's bad

    These are my two favorite chess players. I wish they would play a few ten-minute games for me to enjoy. This is too fast for me.

    Why does white have 40 seconds instead of minute

    playing bullet at the level daniel, alireza, and hikaru play is honestly just as impressive as the best of classical chess... try playing excellent or decent moves at that much less time... it's so damn hard to move that fast and think at that speed

    9:45 how is that insufficient material? he has a rook and a bishop? you can checkmate with rook only?

      He ran out of time. It was a draw because Daniel has'd insufficient material and wouldn't be able to win.

    How does Daniel compare to the likes of Hikaru and Magnus? He's gotta be similar in skill when it comes to bullet.

      He's slightly worse than Magnus, Hikaru and Alireza, but definitely up there

      In bullet Daniel is one of the best. Idk the exact ratings but in general if Hikaru is first, Daniel is second or third for sure. Hikaru has some of his matches against him on his channel back when he would play bullet more often.
